The Longines Spirit Zulu Time is a testament to the brand’s many years of experience in producing watches with multiple time zones. The 39 mm diameter model, which was added to the collection last year, is now complemented by a new version made of grade 5 titanium – an alloy that is not only extremely durable but also particularly light. This highly functional watch offers maximum precision thanks to its exclusive Longines GMT caliber, certified as a chronometer by the COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres).
This year the Longines Spirit Zulu Time is presented in titanium! The model line, launched in 2022 in the Longines Spirit collection, takes its name from the first Longines wristwatch with two time zones from 1925, whose dial featured the Zulu flag – Zulu refers to the letter Z, which is used by aviators and Sailors stand for world time.
The model is powered by the exclusive Longines GMT caliber L844.4, which is equipped with a silicon hairspring and other innovative components. It offers resistance to magnetic fields ten times higher than the ISO 764 standard. This high-precision self-winding mechanical movement delivers a power reserve of up to 72 hours and is officially certified as a chronometer by the COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres).
The new Longines Spirit Zulu Time is here at the interface between traditional Watchmaking and innovation. The housing Made from grade 5 titanium – an alloy that is lighter and is more robust than steel – has one Diameter of 39 mm and is 13.50 mm high for optimal comfort ensure. The one that can be rotated on both sides Ceramic bezel with 24 hour scale is available in two Colors divided, matt black and Polished deep black to switch between daytime and Distinguish night time. The Anthracite-colored dial adorns a Date window at 6 o’clock, applied Arabic Numbers with SuperLuminova® coating and gold-colored hands. The matt black GMT Pointer has a red arrowhead, whose Paint on the writing “Zulu Time” on the Dial is matched.
The watch is waterproof up to 10 bar (100 meters). and comes with an interchangeable strap made of grade 5 titanium with double Safety folding clasp and Opening mechanism supplied with push buttons.
