1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music?
My drink of choice these days is sparkling water with a dash of bitters and a squeeze of lime – it’s refreshing, hydrating, and will leave your mind nice and sharp so you can enjoy every moment of the record!
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
Don’t Spoil the Fun is our debut LP, out now on Dandy Boy Records. There is a video for the song “Sunday Morning Out of the Blue” that we filmed in my backyard in Oakland, California.

3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as a band?!
-
We’re from Oakland, California, which is right outside of San Francisco – Oakland is the birthplace of many iconic bands, from Tower of Power to Green Day.
-
We record and produce our records in our own studio.
-
We’re on Dandy Boy Records, which is the best label in the galaxy and home to an amazing roster of Bay Area artists.
-
Though Don’t Spoil the Fun is our first LP and is currently only available in the US, we previously released an EP which is available from Goodwill Records in Germany! https://goodwillrecords.net/?

We’re really bad at talking about ourselves.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
We might be the least fashionable band in the world – I wear the same black jeans for weeks on end, Vans slip-ons, and most of the time you can find me sporting a military surplus jacket and a band t-shirt. I’m not sure what fashion style that would be considered – lazy style?
5. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
I don’t wish that this was true, but I do think it’s funny – my favorite conspiracy theory is that Paul McCartney died in 1966 and was replaced with an impostor, and that there are hidden clues in The Beatles’ songs hinting at the truth.
6. If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
Even as someone who enjoys the convenience of streaming, there is a part of me that wishes we could go back to a time before streaming and file-sharing decommodified physical media. I think people felt a stronger connection to the bands and artists they loved back when the only way they could hear them was to put on the record or see them live.
7. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
Most of our songs deal with relationships – searching for, losing, and finding love and connection – and the lyrics are written from a place of empathy for the characters in the songs.
8. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
Q: Beatles or Stones?
A: Beatles, obviously. What a silly question.
