To celebrate Liam Gallagher’s performance at the historic Oasis reunion in Cardiff, wearing the Dark Olive Skye Ten Anorak by Ten c x Awake NY, Ten c is relaunching the new anoraks.
The outerwear collection will be available from September 24th at the new pop-up store at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge, London, at the shop-in-shop at the Hyundai Department Store in Seoul, opening on September 26th, and from the end of October at the second pop-up store, also opened by Harvey Nichols, in Manchester, the band’s hometown.
„It was an incredible surprise. The fact that Liam Gallagher spontaneously chose to wear a Ten c jacket made me realize how priceless true style is and that he has the innate ability to transform clothes with clean, simple designs into icons,“ commented Enzo Fusco, founder of the Veneto-based group FGF INDUSTRY SPA, to which Ten c belongs.
This jacket tells, among other things, the story of the unbreakable bond between Oasis and fashion (a social and design story) and directly references the archival version worn by Gallagher. It is the result of a collaboration between Ten c and Awake NY from April 2024 and sold out in no time.
The Skye Anorak Ten c x Awake NY is made of crinkle nylon and OJJ, the result of a collaboration between two exceptional creatives, Alessandro Pungetti and Angelo Baque. The camouflage print reproduces the bedrock map of Manhattan’s boroughs. Alternating between military green and venomous green, the outerwear is personalized with both logos. The classic OJJ label, sewn inside, features both the Ten c and Awake NY logos.
At the heart of Ten c and the new Skye Ten Anorak—a continuing style from the brand, now available in four solid colors (burgundy, dark olive, taupe, and black) as well as a printed version with a modern pixel camouflage pattern—is fabric research.
The materials used are crinkle nylon combined with OJJ, Original Japanese Jersey, the brand’s signature fabric.
