Cherry coke, ice cold. Not over ice, but cold to begin with, from a glass bottle.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
We are looking forward to releasing new singles this summer and shows around NYC.
3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as a band?!
– We try to write lyrics that are honest and raw and feel like they could be drawn right out of your journal.
– we always want to bring the main character energy.
– our guiding principle is authenticity.
– if you missed a Television Skies show you would regret it.
– We try to create a soundtrack for the unforgettable moments in life.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
A mix of indie sleeze meets classic rock revival
5. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
– Some songs find you, not the other way around and can be portals to specific moments in time
– Jim Morrison is alive and well somewhere in Paris, LA or Bangkok
6. If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
We love being able to connect with people through social media but if we could tone back the industry’s dependance on screens in general and get back to personal connection face to face.
7. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
Our songs often revolve around themes of nostalgia, restlessness, the fleeting nature of youth, and the feeling of chasing something just out of reach; whether it’s a person, a dream or a moment. We aim to capture the push and pull between wanting to escape and wanting to belong.
8. A question you’d like to answer, but have never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer
If you weren’t pursuing music what art form would you be interested in? Paul would be doing stand up and Ihor would be making films and painting. We would probably both be writing as well.
