SEABOB x Lamborghini: The world’s fastest water toy celebrates its premiere

CAYAGO AG and Automobili Lamborghini present the SEABOB SE63 in Cannes – the new highlight on the decks of superyachts

World premiere in Cannes – The electrically powered luxury seat toy SEABOB SE63 under the Automobili Lamborghini brand redefines e-mobility on water. The SEABOB SE63 will be presented for the first time at the Cannes Yachting Festival and will be seen on the decks of superyachts in the future. The name SE63 stands for Special Edition and reflects the founding year of Automobili Lamborghini, 1963.

History and purpose of the partnership

This high-performance water toy is the result of the brand cooperation between CAYAGO AG, the leading German manufacturer of electrically powered water toys based in Bad Salzuflen, and the Italian brand Automobili Lamborghini, based in Sant’Agata Bolognese. The goal of this collaboration is to develop a watercraft for the maritime market that impresses with modern e-mobility and excellent handling characteristics, while also featuring an environmentally friendly, zero-emission drive system. Weighing just 35 kg, the watercraft can be moved on board yachts without the need for technical aids.

Design, Materials, and Technology

The design DNA of the Automobili Lamborghini brand is clearly visible in the design of the watercraft. The cockpit of the electric water toy features the legendary start button and a central carbon element, as seen in Lamborghini super sports cars. The watercraft’s digital speedometer prominently displays the original numerical values. Technical components made of titanium and magnesium, as well as a carbon motor shaft in the drive system, make the SEABOB SE63 a masterpiece of engineering. Electrically extendable wings provide additional driving stability on the water surface.

The SEABOB SE63 is an extremely powerful water and diving sled, representing the absolute top product in its class. Its thrust performance is 162 TP. This value is derived from a formula for thrust, vehicle weight, and electrical power. The watercraft has two driving modes: Normal mode is also suitable for diving, while Sport mode provides a speed boost and accelerates the vehicle to maximum power with enormous torque.

With the optional attachment of a performance board at the rear of the vehicle, on which the rider can rest their body, the SEABOB SE63 can reach speeds of up to 35 km/h on the water. The performance board has a wing on the underside that generates strong lift and brings the vehicle to planing in just a few seconds.
