1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music
Ooooo, I love this question. You’re gonna need more than one. Start with an Old Fashioned for „Isabella“ and „Long Way Back.“ Take a break for „Sunday Scaries.“ Then grab a cup of nice green tea for „What If I’m Okay,“ get out the champagne for „Queen of the Ashes,“ and then a beer and a shot of whatever you have for „Minute Man.“ Finally for „#7,“ have something with rum and a little umbrella.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
Might sneak out one more release this year. I’m also back in the studio this month preparing for next year!
3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
That Avril Lavigne is a stand in. I’ve always had fun with that one.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
High-dollar western wear, on its third owner, and has seen better days
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
I think most of my songs are laughing at the worst things. Let me tell ya a really bad story… but you’re gonna like hearing about it. I think lightening up, knowing it’s gonna be alright, and not taking this life too seriously.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I’m not a bad shot. Don’t get to do that a lot these days. But I know way too much about the BTS of way too many movies. And could tell you way too much about Lord of the Rings and Tolkien.
7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
1. I write or co-write all of my own songs.
2. I play most of the instruments on my songs
3. I’m entirely independent
4. My live shows are a blast
5. I have webbed toes.
8. The road so far…. who or what was your biggest support??
My family and my co-creators. I couldn’t do it without them and I’m not sure I would want to. I love the community and the chase.
9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
No one has ever asked me what my desert island food would be. If I had to eat one meal forever, I think it’s a pretty obvious answer: Fajitas. Because you don’t have to choose then, it’s all there.
