„Rock Bottom“ by Nicole Haber + Exclusive Interview

Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?

Honestly, I’ve been obsessed with a good dragon fruit pisco sour lately. It’s perfectly sweet and tangy, a little like my personality, and it feels kinda fancy but still chill. If cocktails aren’t your thing, a solid lemonade with a twist of dragon fruit works too.

Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

So, as you know, my new single „Rock Bottom“ just dropped, and it’s honestly one of my favorite songs I’ve put out. It was originally part of a bigger album project, but some things shifted, and now we’re running with some new fresh ideas. That said, there’s still so much on the way! I’m planning to release a ton of music this year, including another track that I’m super stoked about called „Unfiltered,“ which is all about being unapologetically me. Raw, real, and not holding anything back.

Oh, and big news, I’m planning my first-ever cross-Ontario tour for this summer. It’s going to be an amazing way to connect with everyone and I can’t wait to hit the road and share these songs live. This year’s going to be absolutely wild, so make sure you’re tuned in to catch everything as it happens.

We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

I kinda wish the Earth was actually flat—not because I believe it is, but just because it would be hilarious if all the flat earthers turned out to be right. Imagine there being this massive edge where you just drop off, and everyone’s like, “Oh no, guess they weren’t kidding.” It would be the ultimate plot twist of the century, and I’d be here for the chaos!

What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

If my music were a fashion style, it’d be a mix of grunge and edgy streetwear with a touch of glam—something bold but wearable, and still polished enough to turn heads at every corner. Think ripped jeans, leather jackets, bold graphic tees, and a killer pair of boots, paired with just the right amount of shimmer or metallics to keep it interesting and maybe a little pop of color to make it stand out. It’s all about being authentic, creative, and a little rebellious—just like my sound.

Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

My music dives deep into real emotions and experiences, especially the highs and lows of mental health, personal growth, and the messy beauty of life. A lot of my songs are about overcoming struggles and finding light even in the darkest moments. Take my track „Rock Bottom“, for example; it’s all about hitting that low point, but still seeing the possibility of something better coming out of it. I like to keep it honest and real, but there’s always a sense of optimism woven into the lyrics. It’s my way of turning pain into something positive. Whether it’s battling anxiety, embracing my true self, or facing life head-on, my songs are all about finding strength in vulnerability and encouraging others to do the same.

Beside music, do you have any special talents?

I’d say my special talent outside of music is definitely my ability to do my own hair. A lot of people don’t know this, but I actually color and cut my own hair. The only time I hit up a barber is for my undercut and designs because, honestly, there’s no way I’m doing that to myself, especially when I can’t see the back of my head. And let’s be real, I don’t trust myself with a razor that well! But other than that, I’ve dyed my hair every color imaginable, styled it, and turned it into what it is today. It surprises a lot of people, but hey, it’s one of those hidden talents that I’m too cheap to pay someone else to do.

Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

When it comes to me as an artist, here are the five things you should know:

First, community means everything to me. I’m all about creating a space where people feel welcome, supported, and seen because that’s what truly matters.

Second, I’m self-represented, handling everything from business decisions to branding. It’s not always easy, but I do what I have to do.

Third, I may not always have it all figured out, but I’m giving it my absolute best. I’m learning as I go, putting in the work, and staying committed to the journey.

Fourth, I draw a lot of inspiration from both Illenium and old-school P!nk. Their sound, their energy, and their authenticity really shape how I approach my music and my career.

And lastly, I’m just getting started. This is only the beginning, and I’m beyond excited to see where it all takes me.

The road so far…. who or what was your biggest support??

It might sound cliché, but my family has been my biggest support since the beginning. Whether it’s my music career or my mental state, they’ve been the ones to help me push through all of the tough times and make life just a little easier. My partner has seriously been by my side every step of the way. He’s been to every show, backed me up through every crazy idea, played roles in my music videos, and even when I wanted to quit my job and take the leap into music full-time, he believed in me when I wasn’t even sure I could do it. Because of him, I made it happen. Now I’m doing this full-time, and it’s going so well. I definitely wouldn’t be here without his support. And of course, my parents, they’ve always kept an eye on my well-being, making sure I stay grounded. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for them.

A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

A question I’ve never been asked in an interview but would love to answer is, what would I be doing if I wasn’t a musician? Honestly, I’d either be a chef or a forensic psychologist. I know they’re totally different, but those are two of my huge passions, culinary arts and the brain. Don’t ask me which one I’d pick because, to be honest, I have no idea. I’m just happy to have a couple of backup plans, just in case!
