Rina Rain – „Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha“ + Exclusive Interview

Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music?

Hi, Twisted Male Mag team and fans! Thank you so much for taking the time to chat with me.

I love this question! It really depends on the listener and the moment.

For this particular track, “Om Tare,” I’d suggest coffee, green tea, or kombucha if you’re listening in the morning as your body and mind awaken for the day. If you’re listening while winding down and letting go, I’d recommend a cup of hot herbal tea or something soothing for the nervous system.

I also invite listeners to begin with the first few notes and simply notice what drink feels right in that moment — you might be surprised by what’s being called for.

Please give us an update about your new track „Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha“

“Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha is an invitation to return to the gentle nature within all of us. As I recorded it, I felt as though I were being carried by soft waves of compassion – held, soothed, and opened by the repetition of the mantra. It awakened a softness in me I didn’t know I was holding. Though the chant moves with a quicker rhythm, its purpose is deeply healing: to cut through fear, illusion, and inner struggle, and reveal the quiet path to freedom within.

I chose this as my second single because it holds powerful ancient wisdom within a modern soundscape, with a different tempo from my first release, “Lokah Samastah.”

The response has been incredibly touching — listeners from around the world share how deeply the mantra moves them, and many describe this contemporary expression as a completely new experience of the mantra.

I’ve especially loved reading the media articles discussing the effect of the repetitive nature of this mantra on the nervous system and emotional regulation.

We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

What a fun question. If I had to choose one, I would love for time travel to be real — along with all the theories surrounding it: wormholes, shifting timelines, and the idea that we could visit our past and future selves, much like in Back to the Future. In fact, one of my favorite guided meditations that I sometimes lead is an experience of meeting your future self in the present moment and asking what wisdom can be offered from that future perspective.

What fashion style or brand would best describe your tracks?

I’d describe the style of my music as organic minimalism — natural textures, flowing forms, and a quiet sense of beauty. Think soft linen, raw silk, gentle earth tones, and pieces that feel timeless rather than trend-driven.

Brands like James Perse, Rails, and Jenni Kayne come to mind — labels grounded in nature, thoughtful simplicity, and conscious, timeless design that feel like a natural extension of the sound.

Tell us more about your mantras! Topics! Message!?

My debut album features seven mantras, each with its own unique purpose and intention. I have listened to these mantras for decades and never imagined that one day I would be recording them myself. No mantra is ever the same — even hearing the same one repeatedly reveals new layers when the heart is open.

The shared message across all of them is love, compassion, healing, and self-exploration beyond the ordinary.

Here is the heart of each mantra’s intention:

  1. Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya — devotion, belonging, inner peace

  2. Om Mani Padme Hum — compassion, wisdom, harmony of heart and mind

  3. Ek Ong Kaar Sat Gur Prasaad — clearing obstacles, awakening grace

  4. Teyata Om Bekanze Bekanze Maha Bekanze Radza Samudgate Soha — healing and purification

  5. Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha — protection, courage, transformation

  6. Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu — universal compassion and relief from suffering

  7. Om Muni Muni Maha Muniye Soha — awakening inner wisdom and peace

I experience mantra as prayer, song, and meditation in one. The word mantra comes from Sanskrit: manas (mind) + tra (tool) — a tool for the mind.

Modern science now supports what these traditions have long known. In 1975, Dr. Herbert Benson of Harvard discovered that repetitive sound or phrase activates the body’s relaxation response and produces measurable positive physiological change. Today, more than 16,000 scientific publications support the powerful effects of mantra, meditation, and sound on human well-being.

My wish is that as science continues to evolve, we keep honoring and integrating these ancient mind tools for the development, healing, and awakening of humanity.nces, we continue honoring and integrating these ancient mind tools for human development.

Beside music, do you have any special talents?

I’ve often been told that I have a gift for evoking a sense of calm in people. My students, colleagues, and clients share that my voice feels soothing and that they feel safe being themselves around me, which is always humbling and a reminder of how deeply we can touch one another.

Sometimes, after I’ve led mindfulness workshops, people jokingly call me their “personal Headspace.”

Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

  1. I truly believe that while suffering is part of being human, so is our infinite capacity to heal, grow, and evolve together.

  2. Nature deeply inspires my music — “Lokah Samastah” feels like the ocean’s whisper, and “Om Tare” feels like the forest’s hum.

  3. The decision to record my first mantra came from a quiet but life-changing moment — after a Deva Premal & Miten sing-along concert in May 2025, when two strangers gently encouraged me to sing.

  4. I believe universal wisdom, grace, and love live within each of us — my music is an invitation to go inward.

  5. I carry deep love and  gratitude to all my teachers and mantra artists whose work made Rina Rain possible.

The road so far…. who or what was your biggest support??

My family — especially my husband, whose support has made it possible for me to raise a family while pursuing my calling. I’m also deeply grateful for my loving mother, who has always encouraged me to follow my dreams.

And beyond that, mantra music itself has been a steady companion in my life for decades, carrying me through countless life changes and moments of self-discovery.

A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

If I had a magic wand, what would I change in the world?

To eradicate violence in all forms — physical, emotional, mental, including violence toward oneself. I believe this would open the door to peace, compassion, and healing for our entire planet.
