QMS MEDICOSMETICS Hydromax Liquid Protein Fluid – Easy and powerful care

Perfect for the warmer months

This fortifying moisturizing fluid is formulated with active ingredients that specifically target moisture loss and strengthen the skin’s protective barrier. Firming silk proteins and nourishing ceramides, combined with hyaluronic acid and squalane, provide lasting hydration, stabilize the skin, and keep it supple.

This intensely moisturizing and hydrating treatment ensures immediate and long-lasting suppleness and a silky-smooth skin feel. It also reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Additionally, it helps soothe and reduce skin irritations and is suitable even for very sensitive skin.

Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and dry skin.

NEW: High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid

Forms a protective film on the skin’s surface, providing an immediate smoothing effect and helping to prevent moisture loss. Due to its high molecular weight (>1 MDa), it does not penetrate deeply, but acts occlusively and hygroscopically.

Reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL) by semi-occlusively sealing the stratum corneum without blocking physiological respiration.

NEW: Hydrating Polymer Gel Complex

Typically consists of moisturizing polymers (e.g., betaines, ectoine derivatives, or hydrophilic polysaccharides).

Balances water movement in the epidermis.

Stabilizes the cell membrane microenvironment.

Promotes cell vitality under stressful conditions such as UV exposure or increased evaporation.

NEW: Biomimetic Active Ingredient Complex

Contains skin-like lipid building blocks such as ceramides, phytosphingosine, free fatty acids, and cholesterol derivatives. These components integrate specifically into the lamellar lipid structures of the stratum corneum. Reconstructs disrupted lipid bilayers between corneocytes (especially in irritated, dry, or aging skin).

Supports the restoration of the ordered lamellar structure (long periodicity phase) and thus significantly reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Promotes the regeneration of the natural barrier structure through the biomimetic mimicry of physiological lipid distributions.

Sericin

Silk proteins that moisturize the skin and leave it feeling silky-soft. A low-molecular-weight protein with a high affinity for keratin, it binds to the corneocyte surface. It acts as a film-forming and smoothing agent, supporting corneal cohesion through protein-protein interactions. It has an antioxidant effect by binding free radicals (secondary protective effect).

Squalane

Replenishes lipid deficiencies.

Reduces the permeability of the stratum corneum to water loss without displacing barrier lipids.

Thus, it protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents the oxidation of the skin’s own lipids.

➔ The combination of sericin and squalane promotes dual stabilization, i.e., protein-based film formation and lipid-based barrier repair.
