With this new release, Porsche Design continues its journey to push the boundaries of design and functionality by combining Porsche’s unique automotive heritage with cutting-edge technology. Inspired by the sports car’s distinctive roll bar, the new P’8954 model translates this iconic element into a progressive concept. The titanium frame of the Iconic Targa mirrors the safety function of the Targa roll bar, offering durability, resilience, and a bold aesthetic, while also ensuring superior comfort thanks to its lightweight design.
The Iconic Targa P’8954 frame is made from 100 percent Japanese titanium, whose durable yet lightweight construction is accentuated by engineered cutouts that provide exceptional lightness and underscore a modern, minimalist aesthetic. The avant-garde gray lens is seamlessly integrated into the front and secured with distinctive hex screws – an unmistakable homage to the Tenax fasteners of the 911 Targa’s rear window cover. The matte titanium lends a sophisticated look, while the lightness of the frame guarantees exceptional comfort.
