Inspired by the aerodynamics of race cars: The new Streamline Series

The new Streamline Series, which captures the sporty design of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, an icon of precision engineering and high-performance aerodynamics, is a perfect blend of innovative technology and exceptional craftsmanship. The collection features a unique temple design reminiscent of the rear wing of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. With its signature hinges and temple construction, the aerodynamic shapes ensure an ideal balance of performance and elegance. The Streamline Series is made from 100 percent titanium, partially combined with RXP®, guaranteeing maximum durability. The targeted accents throughout the series reflect the signature details of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, seamlessly connecting with this legendary inspiration. The new collection includes four models – two sunglasses and two prescription frames – each with a rectangular shape. The outstanding P’8986 sunglasses model combines an RXP® front with titanium temples, offering a perfect balance between durability and lightweight comfort.

It is available in black and red with polarized gray lenses, and in olive green and black with green polarized XTR lenses for additional contrast enhancement. The color palette is expanded by a dark green model with gold-colored temples and gray gradient lenses, and a gray-silver model with blue temple elements and dark blue mirrored lenses.

The second model in the Streamline series, the P’8987, features a slimmer full titanium frame. It is available in a combination of black and red with polarized gray lenses, and in blue and gray with blue-black mirrored lenses. Another version is available in gold and black with brown polarized XTR lenses, which enhance contrast, offer optimal UV protection, and ensure scratch and glare protection. The collection is rounded off by a dark gray and dark green version with green lenses.

The collection is rounded off by the optical frames made of pure titanium. The P’8779 model is available in various combinations: black frame with red temple tips, dark gray frame with green temple tips, dark blue frame with blue temple tips, and gold-colored frame with black temple tips. The series is rounded off by the P’8780 prescription frame, which features a double bridge design. This model is available in various color variations, including black and gray, gray and dark blue, blue and black, and silver with red temple tips.

Iconic Silhouette: The Carbon Fiber Series

The Carbon Fiber Series, one of Porsche Design’s most successful collections, uses a high-tech material known for its exceptional strength and durability, as well as its remarkable heat and corrosion resistance. The temple structure combines carbon fibers proven in Porsche sports cars, soft rubber, and a metal core into a sophisticated three-component construction that offers an ideal balance between stability and flexibility, ensuring maximum comfort. Thanks to this unique composition, the frames are incredibly lightweight. The carbon fibers – each strand thinner than a human hair – are lighter than steel, yet many times stronger and harder.

The latest additions to the collection include two striking sunglasses. The new P’8977 model features a masculine, geometric double-bridge design and is available in black and orange with gradient gray lenses, silver and gray with green polarized lenses and contrast enhancer (POL XTR), dark gray and red with polarized gray lenses, and blue and black with blue-black mirrored lenses. The second sunglasses model, the P’8979, features slightly rounded lines and is available in black and red with polarized gray lenses, olive and dark gray with gradient gray lenses, gray with gray-blue temples and blue-black mirrored lenses, and gold and black with light brown polarized XTR lenses.

The series is rounded off by six new optical models. The P’8771 model features a slightly rounded, classic shape and is available in elegant color combinations such as black and dark gray, blue and gray, dark gray and dark red, and brown and olive. The P’8772 has a sporty, rectangular design and is available in black and red, gray and gray-blue, dark gray and orange, and brown and dark green. The rimless P’8774 model is available with three lens shapes. The S1 and S3 embody a rectangular design, while the S2 impresses with a slightly rounded style. All three models feature stainless steel fronts and 3-component temples and are available in the following colors: black and red, dark gray and dark green, blue and black, and gold and black. Rounding out the collection is the P’8781, a rectangular model with an RXP® front and temples made of soft rubber and carbon fiber. It is available in black, grey and orange, blue and black and brown and black.

The epitome of performance: The Flowing Titanium Series

Inspired by the silhouette of the Porsche 911, the Flowing Titanium series embodies the timeless elegance and outstanding performance of Porsche sports cars. The aerodynamic designs are crafted from the highest quality materials. The sophisticated temples in this collection undergo over 200 manufacturing processes, ensuring the titanium is corrosion and heat resistant while creating a stunning play of light and shadow. Integrated spring hinges and adjustable nose pads increase comfort and flexibility. The use of 100 percent titanium makes the frames ultra-lightweight and extremely durable.

The new models from one of Porsche Design’s best-selling series include two pairs of sunglasses. The P’8984 sunglasses have a rectangular shape with a double bridge made entirely of titanium. Color options include black with green polarized XTR lenses, gray and black with blue-black mirrored lenses, gold and black with brown lenses, and olive and black with gray gradient lenses. The second model, the P’8985, is a round unisex pair of sunglasses. It is available in four color variations: black with gray polarized lenses, silver and gray with green lenses, gold and black with light brown polarized XTR lenses, and dark green and black with gray gradient lenses.

The series is rounded off by two prescription models: the P’8777, made entirely of titanium and available in color variations that combine elegant black details with accents in red, blue-gray, dark gray, or olive. The P’8778 features a rectangular shape with an RXP® front and titanium temples with adjustable tips for added comfort. It is available in black, transparent with gray, olive, and gray with dark gray.
