Pond Copenhagen unveils its Spring/Summer 2025 collection of premium men’s swim briefs and hybrid shorts, a quiet celebration of earthy tones and understated design. Shot in the hauntingly raw Tunnelfabrikken – a former industrial behemoth in Copenhagen’s North Harbour now set for cultural rebirth – the campaign reimagines one of Denmark’s cult cinematic moments: Den Store Badedag (The Great Day on the Beach). The campaign is a cheeky homage to the film’s iconic poster, and a nod to our belief that city beaches deserve just as much love as their tropical counterparts.
A Collection Rooted in City Evolution
This season’s theme reflects a world in transition – much like the Tunnelfabrikken itself. Earthy and grounded SS25 draws inspiration from the natural elements threading through city life. The collection is about ease, freedom, and being able to move through the urban landscape with confidence – whether on your way to a morning dip or grabbing coffee afterwards.
Thanks to a new manufacturing partner in Portugal, Pond has dialled up the quality, resulting in better fit, quicker drying times from lighter liners, and greater durability across the board. In a major step forward for inclusivity, the full collection is now also available in XXL, because freedom to swim should come in every size.
Introducing: Rip Replacement Service
With the SS25 collection, Pond’s enhanced craftsmanship goes beyond aesthetics—it’s a promise of performance. Designed in Copenhagen and produced in Portugal using premium European materials, each piece is built for durability and long-lasting wear. But in the rare case that something does give out, Pond stands behind its product.
The Rip Replacement Service offers a complimentary repair or replacement for any item that fails, no matter the reason. It’s a practical extension of Pond’s commitment to quality—offering not just elevated swimwear, but the reassurance that it’s made to be plunged in. Again, and again.
Sustainability Without the Greenwashing
SS25 continues Pond’s commitment to high environmental standards, now using entirely European-sourced fabrics and trimming transportation emissions in the process. Swim briefs feature lighter materials for comfort and functionality, and, as always, we’re keeping production batches tight. No overproduction. No deadstock waste. Just pieces that are built to last.
About Pond Copenhagen
Pond was born in Copenhagen – self-proclaimed harbour bath capital of the world – in 2021. We are driven by the emerging urban dipping culture forming in progressive cities around the globe. We believe that swimming in open water shouldn’t be reserved for far-flung resorts or high summer only.
Our design approach blends Scandinavian simplicity with a distinctly urban aesthetic, crafted for those who live in cities but long for water. Every item is designed in Copenhagen and produced in Portugal from premium, recycled materials. Small-batch manufacturing, responsible practices, and a firm stance against overproduction shape every collection.
As a proud member of the international Swimmable Cities community and Founding Signatory of the Swimmable Cities Charter, Pond donates 1% of its annual turnover to support the urban swimming movement globally.
