In an audacious new expression of its dual mastery of watchmaking and jewellery, Piaget proudly introduces two extraordinary timepieces that redefine the limits of elegance and innovation: the Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon and the Altiplano 910P. Since the introduction of the legendary 9P movement in 1957, followed by the groundbreaking 12P in 1960, Piaget has set the standard for ultra-thin watchmaking. The Altiplano collection, born from this spirit of innovation, has become synonymous with mechanical elegance, technical audacity, and timeless purity. With these latest creations, Piaget writes a new chapter in this storied tradition, merging Maison’s horological expertise with its deep- rooted artistry in jewellery and design. Today, the Altiplano continues to break records and push boundaries, most recently with the Altiplano Ultimate Concept winning the prestigious Aiguille d’Or at the 2020 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. These new Altiplano creations mark the pinnacle of a nearly seven- decade journey – an audacious evolution of a modern watchmaking icon that continues to redefine the boundaries of elegance, innovation, and craftsmanship.
The AUC Tourbillon, a technical marvel at just 2.0mm thin, returns with a new sapphire caseback revealing the intricately finished caliber 970P-UC. Crafted from cobalt alloy, the case integrates movement and structure into a seamless whole – an architectural feat that reflects Piaget’s belief that innovation should serve aesthetics. The caseback bears engraved tributes to the brand’s pioneering spirit and roots in La Côte-aux-Fées, while the signature cross motif, now subtly echoed in the watch’s components, ties past to present. A new khaki green calfskin strap, embossed with the exclusive “Polish Mesh” pattern, nods to the Maison’s goldsmithing heritage and adds a final elegant touch.
Alongside it, the Altiplano 910P brings Piaget’s ultra-thin legacy into a fresh light. Measuring just 4.3mm thick, this new edition appears in yellow gold for the first time, its radiant warmth perfectly paired with a deep khaki green dial and matching alligator strap. The 910P’s off-centered architecture and open-worked dial reveal the mechanical finesse of its ultra-thin automatic caliber, finished in complementary hues of green and slate grey. Both models reflect Piaget’s unmistakable style, where technical mastery meets artistic expression, and are designed to resonate with a new generation of collectors who seek individuality, craftsmanship, and bold design. The AUC Tourbillon also becomes part of the Infinitely Personal program, allowing clients to co-create their own version through a dedicated configurator, selecting finishes, materials, and engravings. More than watches, these are modern-day icons and statements of Extraleganza that embody Piaget’s pursuit of beauty, precision, and personal expression.
