You can drink whatever suits your fancy, but if you wanna have what we’re having then you should pour either: A) high proof bourbon in a tumbler with a cube or two OR… B) go to the best bar you know and order “The Last Word”
Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
We just released a new album called LEFTY & it’s out pretty much everywhere you could feasibly get music.
Name 5 things we all should know about you as a band?!
1). We are best friends and have been for over a decade (since college at UT Austin).
2). We are undefeated at drinking games as a duo (this is an open challenge to all other musical duo’s.
3) The following is what we order at Taco Bell…Andy: chicken quesadilla & a Crunchwrap supreme but sub out cheese and add chipotle sauce. Kyle: 2 spicy potato soft tacos & 1 Crunchwrap supreme sub beef for beans & add chipotle sauce.
4) we both read “A little Life” & we wrote a fan fic song called “my Lover Was a Great Man” for the new record.
5) all of the following are jobs we used to have: singing waiter at Macaroni Grill, short order cook at a ski lodge, CrossFit instructor, wakeboard coach, barista at a place called “Angela’s brew and ballyhoo”, science tutor at Del Valle Middle School, medical case manager for Refugee Services of Texas.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Here’s a few: Billy Reid, Tecovas, Criquet, BrandBlack, and all of our pal’s band tees.
5. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
our universe rides atop the shell of a turtle which sits upon the shell of another turtle…its turtles all the way down baby.
6. If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
The thing that we would change about the industry is that the industry seems to have no idea who we are.
7. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
Since the beginning we have written songs about who we are and what we think…as we evolve, so have the tunes and topics. We now invite you listen to every fucking song that we’ve ever recorded and judge for yourself…
