On 15 June 2024, during Men’s Spring/Summer 2025 Milan Fashion Week, Paul & Shark will be presenting the SS25 Riviera Capri collection, a new chapter in the Riviera story that is embracing the colors, prints, and vibes of the most beloved island in the Gulf of Naples for the season.
It’s a Saturday when summer is almost upon us. The sun is heating up the city. Amidst the hustle and bustle of tourists crowding the streets of central Milan, trees laden with fragrant lemons point the way to the Terrazza Duomo, which has been transformed for the occasion by Paul & Shark into a glimpse of the island of Capri in the vibrant heart of the city: a taste of summer. A quintessential Italian escape. An enchanted terrace, suspended between sky and sea.
Guests will be welcomed to this elegant corner of paradise crafted by the brand by white and azure majolica tiles, blue striped textures on furnishings, and prints and shades that celebrate the harmonious fusion between the identity of the island of Capri and Paul & Shark’s style. The spiers of Milan’s Duomo can be admired from the terrace and alternate with the Mediterranean Sea, which disappears on the horizon: half-closing their eyes and sinking into the wicker sofas in the lounge area of the terrace, guests can imagine the gentle yet powerful sound of the waves as they crash on the sea stacks.
The ambiance is welcoming and relaxed. Time passes slowly, marked by the movement of the sun and lived up by fresh lemonades and citrus sorbets from Capri: a veritable voyage amidst the colors and flavors of the island. In the distance, there is a street artist who is creating watercolor art celebrating the unique landscapes of Capri to the tune of Neapolitan folk music. Within this picturesque setting, we find the models wearing the pieces from the SS25 Riviera Capri Collection, who – like animated tourists – are eager to discover the secrets of the island.
A minimal chic collection, in which great attention has been paid to the materials, details and colors. Swim shorts in ultra-light, quick-drying fabric are paired with silk polo shirts and soft colorful linen shirts. The print made with Liberty of London stands out within the collection, featuring a still image of Capri, with the island depicted with its winding streets, blooming bougainvillea, historic buildings and the little boats of the local fishermen. The details are sharp, like paintings created with brushstrokes of light and shade, which capture the very essence of the island.
Paul & Shark continues its summer journey, which began in 2023, along the most captivating coasts of the Mediterranean. The focus remains on the Riviera feel, which is renewed year after year as it shifts to new iconic coastal locations in the Mediterranean.
