The internationally acclaimed actor, known from numerous film successes, is considered one of the most fashionable and stylish male leads in Hollywood. He is also a long-time Porsche enthusiast. His enthusiasm for the exceptional design, technical innovation and functionality that characterize Porsche Design make this a perfect partnership. In Porsche Design’s new image campaign, Orlando Bloom presents seven selected models of the brand’s innovative sunglasses and prescription glasses.
The iconic P’8478 model, a unique eyewear design in the world, is a focus of Porsche Design’s 2025 eyewear campaign. It is accompanied by six other sunglasses and prescription glasses from the new collection. The Porsche Design P’8478, designed by F. A. Porsche in 1978, went down in history as the first model of sunglasses with an interchangeable lens mechanism. Thanks to the innovative mechanism, the different colored lenses can be exchanged quickly and easily. This means the sunglasses can be easily adjusted to different lighting conditions. Made of ultra-light titanium and scratch-resistant, almost unbreakable polycarbonate, it combines innovative design with maximum functionality and durability.
Another highlight of the 2025 campaign is the new Streamline series, which is inspired by the aerodynamic design of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. This collection embodies high-performance engineering with streamlined bar designs reminiscent of the GT3 RS‘ signature rear wing. The focus of the campaign is the model P’8986 C. With a light RXP® front and robust titanium temples, this frame impresses with its striking color scheme in dark green and gold in combination with gray gradient lenses, which perfectly combine innovation and elegance. The campaign also puts the spotlight on the Carbon Fiber series.
