OMEGA launches Speedmaster Moonwatch in black and white

To kick off 2026, OMEGA presents two new versions of the iconic Speedmaster Moonwatch, reinterpreting the classic chronograph design with an inverted dial.

Both models feature the Moonwatch’s legendary stepped dial with a double plate. The upper plate, finished in polished black with a lacquered and embellished glossy coating, is complemented by rhodium-plated subdial frames. The base of the subdials, however, is white, also lacquered and embellished. The minute track on the main dial is printed in white, while the subdial markers are in black—a high-contrast detail that emphasizes the inverted look and enhances legibility.

The black-and-white theme is completed by a black ceramic bezel with a tachymeter scale in white enamel. The front is protected by a box-shaped, scratch-resistant, and anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The watches are equipped with a polished and brushed bracelet in the classic Moonwatch style, which is secured to the wrist with OMEGA’s patented comfort clasp.

The two 42 mm models in the range include:

• a model in stainless steel with rhodium-plated hands and hour markers, all coated with white Super-LumiNova;

• a model in 18K Moonshine™ gold, OMEGA’s exclusive, exceptionally durable yellow gold alloy. The dial features hour and minute hands, subdials, and hour markers in 18K Moonshine™ gold
coated with white Super-LumiNova, complemented by a central chronograph hand in Moonshine™ gold with PVD coating.

Both Moonwatch Professional models are powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, the most advanced evolution of the legendary Calibre 321, which once carried NASA astronauts to the moon. This exceptional mechanical performance is backed not only by a five-year warranty but also by a Master Chronometer certificate, the highest Swiss standard for precision, performance, and magnetic resistance.
