ASICS and Japanese label Doublet present an extraordinary version of the GEL-Kayano 20. The collaboration takes up the theme of cardboard boxes and uses the material Tyvek, which ages over time, to perfect the cardboard look.
With this partnership, ASICS continues its series of innovative collaborations. Under the creative direction of Masayuki Ino, Doublet brings a distinctive touch by reinterpreting everyday elements. The Tyvek material gives the sneaker a cardboard-like texture and develops a changing appearance over time. Additionally, wavy patterns reminiscent of cardboard cross-sections reinforce the concept of the design.
