MR P. LAUNCHES HIGH SUMMER 2024 COLLECTION

Mr P. is pleased to launch its high-summer 2024 collection. Debuting on MR PORTER from 28 May, Mr P. offers an all-encompassing resort wardrobe with luxury seasonal staples and vacationwear across ready-to-wear, swim, footwear and accessories.

The paintings and work of renowned American artist Ms Alice Neel continues to serve as inspiration for the collection’s colour palette and use of print and texture. Bright, hand-painted bespoke prints feature across an edit of coordinating camp-collar shirts and swimwear, while textural free-flowing stripes are found on shirting, T-shirts and polo shirts.

Providing considered essentials for the high-summer getaway, plush cotton terry-toweling T-shirts, polos and relaxed shirts are the perfect throw-on for the beach alongside linen shirts, overshirts, trousers and shorts – produced using garment-dyed linen with an instantly soft handle. An expanded range of double and single-breasted linen suits round out the edit in a warm, neutral colour palette of beige, pink, green and navy, with knitted and silk-blend shirts designed to complete the look – ideal for a destination wedding or event.

Accessories highlights include sunglasses from Mr P.’s collaboration with Cubitts. Now in its third season, the SS24 range features two new frames including a style reimagined from the Cubitts archive and a brand-new shape designed exclusively by the Mr P. and Cubitts team. Footwear includes sandals reimagined in ultra-fine padded suede and a range of easy slip-on and lace-up lightweight loafers with deck and rubber graduated soles.

As with all Mr P. collections, each piece is crafted with considered design details and seeks to use more responsible materials, furthering the brand’s ongoing journey to deliver collections increasingly designed with longevity in mind without compromising on quality or style. For the first time, Mr P. introduces a formal shirt made with regenerative cotton; the fibre is sourced using an agriculture process that works to restore and rebuild ecosystems to benefit both the planet and local communities.

“We are delighted to launch Mr P.’s high-summer collection. Crafted to be the one-stop destination for the season, it features everything one would need for the warmer months, whether staying at home or heading off for a sun-soaked holiday. I am proud that we have been able to introduce regenerative cotton into the collection this season, a fibre- sourcing process we aim to roll out more within future ranges. Our ambition is to constantly improve the brand and reach those increasingly high sustainability standards we set for ourselves – Mr P. is certainly on the right trajectory as it grows each season.”
