Multi-Lime Capsules
Inspired by the touches of green that can be found in Montblanc’s100 Years of Meisterstück brand campaign, the Maison introduces a new multi-lime colourway in a limited capsule format in two of its key leather collections: Extreme 3.0 and Sartorial.
In the contemporary Extreme 3.0 Collection, intended for life of the move and durable style, the vibrant multi-colour effect is crafted through a print technique that adds an almost three-dimensional quality to the leather pieces. The Extreme 3.0 designs reimagined in this multi-limecolour include the Backpack, Sling Bag and Montblanc 142 Bag in mini size, all completed with the mountaineering-inspired M LOCK 4810 buckle in a matching lime green shade.
Montblanc’s Sartorial Collection expresses the multi-lime effect through a special hand-crafted process: the lime green colour is first manually applied on cassis-coloured saffiano leather to stain it and then removed with a hot sponge. As a result, the lime green colour remains in the deepest part of the textured saffiano leather, while the uppermost part reveals the burgundy-hued cassis shade. This eye-catching technique has been applied to the compact Travel Case, in addition to a selection of wallets, card holders and pen pouches.
Extreme 3.0 – Jacquard Capsule
Well-suited for effortless travel, the Extreme 3.0 Collection is joined by a second capsule collection that features a maximalist, oversized version of its distinctive geometric motif now woven into high-quality, lightweight jacquard fabric.
The assortment of key shapes that have been reimagined in this new jacquard identity includes a nod to Montblanc’s origins in the culture of writing: each bag’s design is enhanced by a gradient sfumato effect that elegantly transitions from black to white, echoing the way black ink spreads across crisp white paper. The selection of shapes for the capsule includes the large Montblanc 142 Bag in the 55cm size, the Backpack with M LOCK 4810 buckle, the Messenger with M LOCK 4810 buckle and a Pouch that can be styled under arm or by the wrist strap.
Meisterstück
The Meisterstück writing instrument and its recognizable design codes continue to inspire the namesake collection in smooth, brilliant leather. For Spring/Summer 2025, new styles in both mini and larger sizes are in the spotlight, adorned by a cool-toned smoky blue colour with a gradient sfumato effect, a burgundy-hued cassis colour and a new cloudy beige shade, adding a further touch of lightness.
The collection’s Messenger shapes are reimagined in a versatile mini size, ideal for styling cross- body, over the shoulder or as a clutch. The play on volume is also expressed through the Meisterstück Document Case, with its regular and mini size recreated in the season’s smoky blue shade.
For elevated workwear, a new Flat Briefcase in black embraces Montblanc’s writing culture heritage with its classic top handle style and diagonal leather detailing inspired by the shape of an envelope. Inside, the bag features a dedicated compartment for a laptop, a zipped pocket for added organization and 2 writing instrument loops.
Atelier Capsule
A collection that acts as a further testament to Montblanc’s fine leather craftsmanship, the new Atelier capsule features a croco-embossed leather that adds a playful textural dimension to the season’s burgundy-hued cassis shade. The capsule’s design codes are influenced by Montblanc’s rich writing heritage, particularly the recognizable shapes and details of the Meisterstück collection such as the nib-shaped handles.
Created in the season’s cassis colour, the Atelier collection’s pieces notably feature the captivating sfumato effect, for which Montblanc Artistic Director Marco Tomasetta found inspiration from a stained heritage ink bottle. This blurring effect softly transitions from darker colors at the bottom of each piece to lighter tones at the top, evoking the process of ink slowly diffusing into paper. As the effect is manually applied via airbrush on the finished leather product at the end of the production process, each sfumato piece carries its own slightly distinctive finish.
The Atelier capsule gives its unexpected twist to classic Montblanc shapes such as the Business Organizer and the Document Case, while introducing three new designs: a vertical Tote suitable for daily errands or travel, a Mini Bag featuring a sleek elongated shape, and a Round Messenger, offering a slightly larger take on the messenger design with softer outlines. The Atelier capsule’s small leather assortment adds touches of an orange-toned cayenna shade to the collection and can be seen on a selection of wallets and cardholders, in addition to the cassis colour.
