Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?
Something that oscillates between reality and dream. Maybe a deep black espresso with a hint of cinnamon—awake, yet somehow detached. Or a cocktail with smoky mezcal and rose water—a play of depth and lightness, just like Truth and Dare.
Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
The album Truth and Dare is out—a journey through surreal soundscapes, somewhere between fragile intimacy and futuristic architecture. I’m especially excited about the remixes by Lusine and Rafael Anton Irisarri—two artists I’ve admired for years.
Additionally, there’s the Groove Drifter—a small figure floating on an air mattress over the water depicted on the Picture Disc. Over time, it drifts toward an island in the center of the record. A kind of physical meditation on letting go and arriving.
The album cover perfectly captures this feeling. Tom Hagemeyer has created a scene that feels familiar yet distant—like recognizing a place from a dream without knowing if you’ve actually been there.
A tour is in the works, but I wouldn’t just call it a “tour”—it will be more of an immersive experience, a visual and sonic installation.
We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
The idea that our dreams are the real world and waking life is just a byproduct—that’s a theory I’d love to be true. Maybe we exist in a parallel world at night that we forget during the day, and music is the only bridge between the two.
What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
The jacket I’m wearing on the cover is designed by Issey Fujita—his designs embody what my music is about: structured but never rigid. Timeless, yet with a futuristic edge. Movement and texture play a big role, just like in my sounds.
Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
Each track on Truth and Dare is like a Polaroid from another reality. It’s about the tension between chaos and control, about the subconscious expressing itself through frequencies. Some tracks feel like a late-night walk through an unfamiliar city, others like looking through a shattered window into a world almost like ours. Truth and dare—that’s what it’s all about.
Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I love designing things—not just sounds, but objects as well. The Groove Drifter is one example: a small, floating figure merging with the movement of water. I also create visual concepts and experiment with 3D design, often as an extension of my music.
Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
I love creating music with unexpected structures—nothing should be too predictable.
I believe sound can be as tangible as fabric or sculpture.
Collaborations inspire me—Lusine and Rafael Anton Irisarri reinterpreted my tracks in ways I never expected.
Design and music are inseparable to me—sound should not only be heard but also felt and seen.
I like mysteries, fish and barbecue.
The road so far…. who or what was your biggest support?
The idea that art doesn’t have to be pleasing to be beautiful. And the people who encouraged me to pursue exactly that in my music—through collaborations, conversations, or simply by listening.
A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
Question: Is there a place where you listen to music to truly understand it?
Answer: An empty room with high walls, a single light source, and a great sound system. Every track sounds different there. Some pieces of music only unfold when you give them space.
