After the purist jewelry collaboration by SASKIA DIEZ exclusively for Marc O’Polo, the new eyewear collection follows with great attention to detail. SASKIA DIEZ was inspired by the iconic eyewear collection Marc O’Polo Panto, which she varied in an unconventional way in four different directions. To do this, she cut the models out of paper to get an immediate feel for how they look on the face. Together with Eschenbach eyewear designer Andreas D. translated the silhouettes into technical drawings. The result is four expressive unisex styles, each in two colors. The metal details act as a small bracket that visually holds the different models together: an arrow and a heart – a real one Summer love story.
The models range from one striking shield look with a flowing bridge transition to rounded cat-eye shapes with an expressive frame. SASKIA DIEZ’s high quality standards are particularly evident in the use of the sustainable Eastman acetate Acetate Renew, which is made from pulp from sustainably managed forests and certified recycled plastic waste. The color palette ranges from summery-light with soft green and juicy pink to timelessly cool Off white and black.
A specially shaped case in off-white, similar to the glasses, and a glasses cleaning cloth in rich pink pick up the summer love story with a heart and arrow motif and round off the exclusive eyewear capsule collection by SASKIA DIEZ for Marc O’Polo.
