The sophisticated silhouettes of the creations reflect individuality and style and demonstrate the Maison’s commitment to redefining the boundaries of innovation and elegance. Crafted exclusively by master craftsmen in Japan, the sunglasses feature not only distinctive details, but also anti-reflective mineral lenses optimized with innovative hydrophobic and oleophobic treatments. The collection is inspired by the effortless elegance and savoir-vivre of Italy.
Named after Loro Piana’s iconic creations, the models pay homage to the Maison’s rich heritage in producing garments of exceptional quality. The André, Icer and Roadster sunglasses feature exclusive lenses that contain a mix of rare elements and enhance perception, colors and contrast. The lenses are made from the highest quality optical glass and treated with platinum to eliminate impurities and ensure flawless clarity.
They offer 100% UV protection and some lenses are also polarized to reduce glare. The Spagna and the limited Traveler have water- and oil-repellent lenses. The titanium and hypoallergenic premium acetate frames are carefully assembled by Japanese experts. Each pair of glasses is artfully designed and features discreet but distinctive Loro Piana details. The sunglasses feature an engraved wire core along the temple, reminiscent of the herringbone pattern – a nod to Loro Piana’s exceptional textile heritage. With their unisex aesthetic, the Loro Piana sunglasses complete the Maison’s typical silhouette and give every look a timeless touch.
The Traveler is available in a limited edition and features an enameled laser engraving with the words „Limited Edition“ on the side of the temple. The design combines a classic, rounded acetate frame with a delicate metal rim that elegantly encloses the lenses and creates an exquisite interplay of materials and style.
With their square frame and stylish unisex silhouette, the André sunglasses are ideal for squarer face shapes. The masculine Roadster sunglasses are characterized by a striking double nose bridge, which is based on classic aviator styles. With its wide lenses and butterfly shape, the Spagna exudes an unmistakably feminine touch and is particularly suitable for round face shapes. Available in Black and Dark Havana, the Icer sunglasses feature a timeless design that skilfully combines acetate with contrasting titanium rims. The two-layer titanium rims are electroplated and add wonderful depth to the overall aesthetic.
