DECATHLON’s running expert brand KIRPUN is restructuring its diverse range: The three new product lines KIPRIDE, KIPSTORM, and KIPSUMMIT are based on 15 years of development and incorporate valuable feedback from top athletes, who are a key driver of the brand’s innovation.
Each line includes several models, which will be released throughout 2026:
KIPRIDE: For training runs and recovery sessions
KIPSTORM: For race distances up to the marathon
KIPSUMMIT: For trail running and ultra distances like the Mont Blanc Marathon

At the start of 2026, KIPRUN presents the KIPRIDE MAX, a running shoe for everyday training. It offers the softest and most comfortable cushioning in the range to date. With an ultra-soft midsole, premium upper, and a light, dynamic feel, the KIPRIDE MAX sets new standards in the „Maximum Comfort“ segment. The ideal model for diligently and sustainably pursuing your New Year’s resolutions.
Comfort and Performance Combined
Every component of the shoe has been carefully considered and consistently optimized for maximum softness to create an effortless, comfortable running experience. Advanced components are used – most notably the SOFTECH+ ultra-soft midsole in combination with the SCF M-TPU Strobel and insole system.

For the KIPRIDE MAX midsole, KIPRUN utilizes its newly developed SOFTECH+ technology, an exclusive EVA/PEBA/OBC blend that provides outstanding cushioning and a particularly smooth running experience. Additionally, both the Strobel plate (2 mm) and the insole (5 mm) are made of SCF M-TPU. This construction minimizes harsh transitions within the shoe, increases underfoot softness, and optimizes energy return. Lab tests confirm significant improvements over the predecessor model, the KIPRUN KS900.2:

Breathable, flexible, and stable
The upper is made from 98% recycled PET, combining softness, breathability, and high adaptability. Flexible stretch zones in the forefoot allow the foot to expand naturally—ideal for longer runs or varying loads. Reinforced side panels provide reliable midfoot support, while the combination of a 360° collar and 3D-knit tongue ensures a pressure-free fit and easy on and off.
Integrated inner wings within the lacing system wrap evenly around the foot, offering stability without unnecessary stiffness. A minimalist heel stabilizer and a softly padded collar complete the package, providing support and a comfortably soft feel.
