The ultimate record-breaker in the carbon range
KIPRUN’s carbon shoe range currently includes four models covering a wide range of uses. The KD900X.2 is particularly well-suited for entry into the world of carbon models: With an attractive price of €130, it makes the performance advantages of carbon-reinforced shoes accessible to a broad range of runners. The KD900X LD2 is ideal for shorter distances from 5 km to the half marathon, while the KD900X LD+ is designed as a racing machine for the marathon distance.

Two patented technologies for maximum performance
Two patented technologies ensure exceptional dynamism, stability, and lightness in the KIPSTORM LAB: the J-shaped carbon plate and the newly developed VFOAM X midsole.
The carbon plate, developed by KIPRUN, has a J-shaped construction and is embedded between two midsoles of different densities right at the beginning of the production process. This precise positioning ensures that the plate works exactly where it has the greatest effect. The result: maximum energy return, improved stability, and a reduced overall weight – all in harmony with the shoe’s cushioning and propulsion.
The VFOAM X midsole consists of two foam layers fused to the carbon plate in a single production step. Inside, a PEBA-based „FeatherBounce“ foam weighing just 28 g provides exceptional lightness, comfort, and energy return. This is surrounded by a high-density TPU foam that provides structure, stability, and durability with 50 g. This combination enables a total weight of only 167 g in size 42 – without compromising on cushioning or durability.
