K SENSEI New Release – “C’est si beau [acoustic version]” + Exclusive Interview

Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music?

I would recommend a delicate blend of floral gin or smooth vodka, fresh pear, and elderflower, with a little pinch of salt, to be sipped at the end of the day, when the light turns golden.

Pear brings tenderness; elderflower offers a fragile beauty, almost whispered. Perhaps a few light bubbles, to let the emotion rise—without ever exploding.

2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

For this month of January, I’m releasing a reissue of my song “C’est si beau”, which both closes an important chapter of my project and opens a new one.

The year 2026 is already shaping up to be rich in projects: a music video to promote my EP released last May, “De cendres et de larmes”, accompanied by a remix project; a duet on Haus of Bobbi’s upcoming EP; another duet with Malika Whitaker on an independent project; as well as other tracks still in development. At the same time, I am currently composing and writing original songs for my next EP, which I think is planned for next year.

3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

I wish that another form of life existed somewhere in the universe—one that could come and temper the era of humankind in its madness, slowing the current downfall and the collapse of the world we are struggling within.

Geopolitical reality and contemporary human behavior, particularly due to the use of smartphones and AI, are becoming uncontrollable, and human relationships are growing increasingly complex and difficult to grasp.

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

K Sensei’s music sits in a dark pop / intimate / high-aesthetic space, so the fashion that fits best feels minimal, sensual, slightly dangerous, and intentional — nothing loud, everything charged.

– Our Legacy – raw, emotional minimalism
– Ami (darker pieces) – soft masculinity
– Lemaire – restraint, intimacy

5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

My songs speak about human relationships and our connection to the world. Primarily focused on couples and love, they also open up to broader reflections on each person’s place in society, and on how sensitivity—or the lack of it—can impact relationships between people, generating emotions that are often negative.
My upcoming projects will continue to build my mythology by addressing these themes through the lens of childhood and the deeply impactful individualism of our era.

6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?

Beyond music, I am working to develop and invest in my skills in visual creation and writing, for myself and for others.

I continue to co-write lyrics for Haus of Bobbi, as well as writing and directing music videos.
I also practice photography and drawing—either connected to the visuals of my own musical projects or those of other artists, but also simply for pleasure or for independent projects that combine photography and digital drawing.

7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

So, 5 things you should know about me as an artist:

  • I started playing the theremin, mainly on stage, for the extended version of the track “Rayon vert.”
  • I handle all the visuals for my artistic direction.
  • I’ve been part of a choir for the past few months.
  • I believe artists have talent and courage to put forward their vision and their work. However, I don’t believe in genius; I think art is the result of a personal process and of resources put into action—born from work and reflection. If a piece is accessible and appears “simple,” it’s because the work behind it was done well.
  • I’m considering trying writing and singing in English, to express things differently, with other words.

8. The road so far…. who or what was your biggest support??

Currently, it’s my husband, Haus of Bobbi, who also produces my tracks and whom you can see in my music videos—whether as a featuring artist, duet partner, or actor.

I’m also supported by my family, especially my sister Tiffanie.

Malika Whitaker as well—a friend of over 20 years—who collaborated with me on a track from the EP, and with whom we have a few surprises in store for 2026…

I also think of close friends who support my projects and sometimes collaborate in one way or another: through feedback, costume ideas, accessories, acting as extras, or simply sending words of encouragement. My inner circle has evolved over the past two years, and human relationships are constantly shifting. It’s easy to see how art can displace and bring to light traumas or a lack of self-confidence in each of us.

9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

It’s very difficult and interesting ! I would say maybe: „Is the beauty you sing about a refuge, an illusion, or a weapon?“

I think it’s a bit of all three:
– it’s a refuge, because it offers a safe space for sensitivities that are often pushed aside;
– an illusion, because it sometimes softens what hurts too much to be faced directly;
– and finally, a weapon, because choosing softness, slowness, and vulnerability in a brutal world is already a political act.

My music inhabits this in-between space: a place where one protects oneself while partially revealing who they are; where one may be mistaken, but where one still resists.
