1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?
Thank you so much for the opportunity to talk with you guys. I really appreciate it and I would love you to have a cold ice tea with green tea, ginger and a squeeze of lemon with me to reflect on life while we are all trying to „push through these waters“. So glad that we can now pause life for three minutes. Cheers!
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
After being gone as a recording artist for more than a decade I am back now with my first single „Battlefield“! I am super motivated, I feel better and stronger than ever before because I am surrounded by great people and super grateful for that.
We just had a big TV campaign with „Battlefield“ and released my first ever music video. You can see it right here:
With an incredible team behind me I finally enjoy being in the music industry, developing my music and artistry. Right now we are preparing to drop my second single called „Heartache LoveSong“. The song is a biiiig ballad with gospel elements and is inspired by one of my greatest male vocalists George Michael.
„Heartache LoveSong“ will be followed by my first international EP in July. I am super excited!!!
I am surrounded by so much talent and I can’t wait to share our music with an international audience!
3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
I heard that some people think Merlin and dragons are still alive. Maybe living inside earth or on a hidden island. I would love that to be true. I am fascinated by dragons and magicians. I loved „Game of Thrones“, the Merlin series and movies and I can’t get enough of the mystery that comes with these legends. I am kind of hypnotized when it comes to dragons. So, does anyone have any hints where I can finally meet any of them? 🙂
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Tom Ford. Classy, sexy, cool. Gentleman – like.
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
„Battlefield“ is a powerful and encouraging anthem that connects us all in this crazy world we are living in right now. There so much going on but Battlefield reminds us to leave the past behind and focus on the future. „Time to heal“ is my favorite line in the song and I really think that everyone should leave the past behind, move forward and be aware of the healing power of being in the now and the magic that lies in creating your future.
My new song „Heartache LoveSong“ is the perfect soundtrack for everyone currently suffering from a broken heart. The song transports us to a situation on a rooftop at night, where we question ourselves, life in general and mourning the loss of true love.
„I sit on the rooftop thinking, trying to push away pain for memories. Here in this state of mind, it seems like you’ve stopped my time, in this moment I never thought you’d ever leave.“
Of course, one might rightfully ask: „Do you really think we need another love song about heartbreak?“
My response: „Yes, we do!“
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
During the last years I was able to write two books about personal development, motivation and mental health and I love the fact that I found partner who made possible that I could use my voice as a philanthropist (I studied theology and musicology) and contribute something to our society. These topics will always play in important role in everything I do.
Besides that I love beach volleyball, dancing, cooking and I LOVE interior design and could spend any free minute working on house and garden projects.
7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
I love gospel and I think music is something spiritual.
I love big voices like Whitney, Celine, Mariah.
I love Hip Hop and 90s RnB.
I love drama like orchestral arrangements, cellos, strings, big choirs etc.
I am super emotional and even after 41 years music can make me cry within seconds.
8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??
I wanted and started to sing when I was five. I never stopped. My mother always told me I even sang during the nights while being asleep – all kindergarden songs with five or six verses. I never stopped.
I quit piano lessons three times during my life, but started again and again because I wanted it so badly.
I finally taught it myself. I am not very good, but it’s enough to write and work on ideas.
I had my first vocal coaching with 17 and never lost the fascination for the voice. My first book is actually about the voice and is called „Be a voice not only an echo“.
9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
What would the life look like you dream of?
Having a house in my favorite city Los Angeles with a big garden and a little pool. I would love to have enough space to plant my own vegetables and fruits. I would love to have a gym, a recording studio and a dance studio in my house and a lot of guestrooms for my people. Important: Not because I am decadent, but because I am not necessarily into being on vacation or into traveling all the time. I LOVE my artist life and I would love not having to leave my home too much for all the things that could be avoided somehow.
A big dining table with 12 chairs to celebrate Christmas would be awesome.
I would just love to have everyone I love and work with to be around and to share my home with them without annoying each other. Just being gone to be on tour or for events but having the privilege to stay at home surrounded by love, family and friends is definitely a lifegoal.
