1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music?
Thanks for asking me! These questions are fun. I think a milkshake suits my music. Doesn’t matter what flavor. Let’s celebrate life.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?
I’m thrilled that my second full length album “What Happens Next?” is being released by Gulf Coast Records on March 27th. I’ve waited to release this record for a while and now it’s here. The songs mean a lot to me and I think they’ll move listeners too. There are two singles out right now on all streaming platforms. I’ve got tour dates all over North America in 2026 and I hope to cross the pond for my first European tour soon!
3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
As a diehard rock’n’roller I really want to believe Elvis IS alive and is about to make a comeback to show us how it’s done! Even though he’s probably not, he lives on in me for sure.
Also, I’ve always found the “Paul is dead” thing interesting and I’m glad that the incredible Paul McCartney is still alive.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Jeans and boots but with a cool shirt. I don’t know much about fashion but I think of my tunes as modern retro with a sleekness. I know for me, I try to look cool.
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
The songs on the new record are personal and honest. Those two things are important to my songwriting. I think honesty is the core of all great songs whether they’re blues or not.
Most of the songs on “What Happens Next?” came out of a time when I was struggling with substance abuse and trying to live sober without much success. I had brief periods of sobriety during that time, when I became inspired and I wrote these tunes. The song “Shame Shame” is about the deep rooted shame that many people struggling with addiction try to cover up by self-medicating. I struggled with my fair share of guilt, remorse, low self-esteem etc. I’m happy I can say that I’ve worked through all of that and I’ve been living sober for a while now. Life is beautiful today.
There’s also tunes like the title track and “Someone In My Mirror” that address a yearning to do better, be better, and be free. I hope the record moves people and they find their own message in the songs.
There’s a really low down, minor key, slow blues on the record called “Man I’m Supposed To Be” that I’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback on. The song deals with relationships. I’ll let the song speak for itself but I’m excited for folks to hear it.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I consider myself to be an adept puzzle solver. I kill a lot of time on the road doing crosswords, playing chess (which is like a competitive puzzle), online scrabble against my mom (though she wins most of the time haha).
7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
I recently relocated to New Orleans, LA. I’ve been hooked on New Orleans music my whole life and it’s been really inspiring. I’m excited for whatever comes out next for me musically.
In 2019 I won the Gibson Guitar Award at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. It’s taken me a while to learn to embrace that, but I do now.
For the last year and a half I toured with John Nemeth as a member of The Blue Dreamers. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with John. I’ve been a fan of his for a long time as he’s one of the greatest blues singers and entertainers in the world. Working with him has taught me a lot. I have my own touring schedule now but I look forward to doing more with him in the future.
If you like rock’n’roll, blues, americana, and soul music check me out!
If you come to one of my shows, you WILL get your money’s worth and WILL be entertained!
8. The road so far…. who or what was your biggest support??
I’ve been fortunate to have the support from my family that I do. My mom especially has encouraged me to follow this path of pursuing what I love. She’s always said “You only need plan A. If you have a plan B, you’ll end up doing plan B because it’s easier”. Whenever someone asks her about me she says “he doesn’t suck.”
I’m grateful to work with some of my musical heroes. Anson Fundeburgh produced this new record as well as my previous release “Just Say The Word”. Making music with him and calling him a friend is one of the joys of my life. He’s featured on this new record on the track “Shame Shame”.
9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
I’m gonna borrow one from the late night talk show host Stephen Colbert when he asks his guests “What Is The Best Sandwich?”
While I do get down with, and regularly devour, many of the handheld classics of American Cuisine… I have been to Germany and I gotta say… there’s nothing quite like a good Döner kebab!
