As one of the world’s most influential industrial designers, Marc Newson’s vast and longstanding interdisciplinary practice continues to inspire. Known for his biomorphic forms, bold colors, and high-gloss finishes, Newson’s aesthetic is refined and distinctive. When first approached by G-STAR in 2004, the Australian designer had never worked in fashion. Intrigued by the challenge, he brought a fresh perspective to apparel design, merging his futuristic aesthetic with the brand’s utilitarian DNA.
The collaboration ran biannually until 2016, producing capsule collections that blended industrial precision and artistic innovation. And now, it’s renewed: a capsule collection of the most forward- thinking designs, reimagined for today’s audience.

• 10 YR Leather Tour Jacket – A leather reinterpretation of the bomber jacket, featuring classic elements like a ribbed collar and voluminous silhouette, with pocket detailing where Newson’s signature fluid shapes come into play.
