G-SHOCK today presents the hottest collaboration for all anime fans: The new G-SHOCK EVANGELION pays homage to the legendary anime series, which premiered on TV 30 years ago.
The collaboration model, the GA-110EVA30-7AER, was personally designed by Ikuto Yamashita, the designer behind the famous EVANGELION series. For this special collaboration, Yamashita created original graphics that capture the intensity of the captivating world of the anime series.
The base model is the G-SHOCK GA-110, which was also used in the first EVANGELION collaboration in 2010. The EVA Unit-01, the central figure of the series, is present throughout the watch’s design: its horned head on the short strap, its face on the bezel, and its right arm clutching the lance of Longinus (just before it is thrown) extending from the lower bezel to the long strap. Thanks to state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, G-SHOCK developers were able to faithfully reproduce the detailed designs
on the G-SHOCK.
The dial of this unique G-SHOCK is brimming with EVANGELION details that fans will appreciate: The small display at 9 o’clock is inspired by Sachiel, the third angel, and a striking Y-shaped element on the dial is reminiscent of the CAUTION pattern seen throughout the series. Other details include the „NEON GENESIS“ inscription on the strap loop, the NERV logo at the tip of the strap, and a 30th anniversary emblem engraved on the case back.
Presented in special packaging, this watch combines the innovative robustness of G-SHOCK with the unforgettable style of EVANGELION in a striking collaboration for fans around the world.
