1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music?
Thank you!
Well, given that my debut track is called “COFFEE,” that feels like the obvious choice — but honestly, the music leans more toward evening energy. So I’d go with a whiskey cocktail — something classic like a Manhattan. Smooth, a little bitter, and it gets better the longer you sit with it. Final answer.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
My next single “DEEPCUT” comes out on November 7th, and then my debut EP “Delusional” drops on November 28th — so there’s a lot of new music coming soon.
I’m still building the live set right now, and I’m hoping to take it to Europe next year. The idea is to make the live show feel immersive — somewhere between a club night and a dream sequence.
3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
I like to think that our dreams are being quietly recorded by satellites and stored in some interdimensional archive. One day, you could log in and watch all your dreams.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Probably something like Carhartt WIP — durable, grounded.. with a creative edge. My music isn’t fancy or minimal, it’s more like working music: built for focus, motion, and real life, but still with color and feeling.
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
My songs are more about moods than messages. They live in that space between movement and emotion; electronic music that makes you want to move, but also makes you feel something. I think of each track as a little world, a mix of rhythm, texture, and melody that pulls you.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I love to design and build things, mostly out of wood. I’ve built furniture, spaces, even a house. It’s meditative, kind of like producing music. You start with raw material and shape it until it feels right.
7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
- I record almost everything myself.
- I’m a little obsessed with ASMR and textures — creaky wood floors, fire, birds outside my window, broken tape loops… they all sneak into the music.
- I’m from Portland, and I think that kind of quiet, rainy atmosphere gets into everything I make.
- I like building things, spaces, furniture, sounds. There’s something satisfying about shaping both the environment and what comes out of it.
- More than anything, I want my music to feel like an escape, something you can get lost in and come out a little lighter.
8. The road so far…. who or what was your biggest support??
That would have to be my partner, Kitty. I had all but given up on releasing music, and they consistently remind me how much I love it.
9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
