1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music?
I’d recommend a warm cup of Guatemalan raw cacao boiled down with oat milk, honey, a dash of chilli, cinnamon and cardamon
2. Please give us an update about – new album, LBC event, further projects?
My album ‘The Downey Groove’ is out on September 19th and it’s a deep, down and groovy, bassy journey into your deepest crevices.
There’s a new EP ready for early 2026 called ‘A Universe Inside’ that features a collaboration with Elodie Gervaise and this winter I will be working on my next album which is well under way.
For Lunchbox Candy we have a very big season closing and our 4th birthday anniversary on November 8th with some super exciting surprise guests!
3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
That there is advanced ancient civilisation structures / ruins hidden behind the ice walls in the Artic and Antarctic which are portals to other dimensions.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Hmm it would be ‘choose different colours, shapes and textures each day that reflect your mood’
A brand like this could never really exist.
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
The music is open for interpretation. A lot of the writing, producing, and recording is guided by my own personal experiences and processes. If there’s one message, I’d like to share is this: take time to immerse yourself in the music, open your mind and your being to receive and see where it takes you

Yeah I can turn my eyelids inside out and freak people out

– I don’t have a need to be understood

Me, myself and I and the freedom to do whatever I want – especially when it comes to music

How do you feel about everyone giving a go at DJing these days? Especially in Berlin and especially all the ‘influencer’ DJs
DJing is an artform, a craft that takes years to master and it has a very powerful potential to transform. It’s akin to shamanism if done with the right intentions. It requires a substantial amount of inner work to step out of your ego to be able to energetically hold space, stay grounded and focused in front of a crowd and develop the ability to read the audience and curate an experience.
Let alone needing to have an unshakable passion and thirst for music to use it as a conduit to communicate and transform.
These days anyone can learn to mix 2 records together and pass themselves as a DJ – it’s become gimmicky, reductive and it has lost its value and spiritual essence.
As for ‘influencer DJs’ – it’s just another natural progression in the pursuit of getting unwarranted attention and validation, creating more noise, and diverting attention away from the real deal.
