1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music?
Thank you very much for the invitation.
I would recommend either a freshly tapped beer or a vodka soda.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
Our latest single is called ‘Schatten’ and has just been released. Our second studio album will be released on 15 May.
We are currently planning a tour and are already looking forward to two dates: •28 March at Theaterschiff Potsdam and 17 April at Junction Bar Berlin.
3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as a band?!
Our music can unfold more fully at concerts.
We love good food, especially before concerts.
When we’re making music, we lose all sense of time. Luckily, no one has ever collapsed during rehearsals.
Ideas come to us during long hikes or just before we fall asleep.
If you research the effects of delta wave music on the internet, you will find parallels to concert experiences that have been reported to us: the music has a strong relaxing and ‘grounding’ effect, which can help to cope with stress and anxiety.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
We would say our music sounds a bit like a movie you can dance to — minimal, raw, yet melodic enough to stick with you. Sometimes people might think we carry roots from East German history — and we wouldn’t completely deny that. We make songs that might keep some people dancing until their shoes start squeaking and their shirts are soaked. It’s modern new wave with substance — serious enough to matter, but never so self-important that you’d spill your coffee all over your keyboard.
5. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
In the 1980s in East Germany, some synthesizers were allegedly equipped with a hidden frequency – one that immediately triggers wanderlust and an uncontrollable urge to dance. Officially, of course, the whole thing was for the sake of ‘social harmony,’ but unofficially, it was probably more to get everyone in rehearsal rooms and dance clubs into a dancing frenzy. And who knows – maybe a few of these devices are still around somewhere today 😉
6. If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
Music needs time and space to be created and to unfold its full impact. It should not be driven primarily by profit and short-term returns that reduce it to a quick consumer product. Music is not fast food, but a cultural value that deserves conscious attention and genuine listening.
7. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
The songs tell stories of people caught between stagnation and new beginnings who keep going despite doubt. They explore escapism and danceable lightness as much as self-love, new romance, and letting go of relationships. Serious themes like the danger of intense emotions or climate change meet a humorous take on the illusion of constantly available happiness. At their core, the songs encourage believing in yourself during difficult times. Together, they stand for honesty, hope, and the courage to move forward.
8. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
What would you never do musically, even if it could make you famous and rich?
I would never write après-ski hits, even if it might be quicker than baking a pizza these days.
