DECATHLON Vertigo 76 Capsule Collection – Vintage outdoor style for urban everyday life

DECATHLON’s Vertigo 76 capsule collection combines functional outdoor elements with urban style. Inspired by vintage designs and given a modern twist, the line focuses on clean silhouettes, high-quality materials, and striking details. From jackets and shirts to accessories, each piece embodies the idea of bringing adventure and discovery into everyday life. The collection will be available from January 27, 2026.

With the Vertigo 76 capsule collection, DECATHLON presents an exclusive outdoor sportswear line inspired by the brand’s designs from 1976. The collection kicks off the celebrations surrounding the multisport specialist’s 50th anniversary, which is taking place this year. It reflects the company’s historical cornerstones: adventure, discovery, and a fascination with the mountains.

The designs are inspired by the current „gorpcore“ trend, which integrates functional outdoor clothing into everyday urban life. As a further development of the minimalist „normcore“ style, Vertigo 76 interprets the idea of modern exploration – perfectly in line with the growing trend of „urban hiking.“

The collection comprises 15 unisex pieces in a color palette ranging from violet and burgundy to warm browns, accented with cream and sienna hues. An iconic detail is the redesigned triangular patch featuring the legendary AFLF slogan „À Fond La Forme,“ reminiscent of the 1990s. The Vertigo 76 capsule collection will be available online and in selected Decathlon stores starting January 27, 2026.

“Our goal was to reinterpret the essence of our sportswear DNA and create a collection that is both stylistically compelling and conveys our story,” explains Kynza Ahmed, the line’s textile designer.

The collection includes versatile pieces that combine functionality with urban style. The casual “Polar Jacket” fleece (€25) in violet and brown provides warmth with its brushed fabric, while distressed buttons emphasize the vintage look. The relaxed-fit “Graphic Tee” (€20) in the same colors makes a bold statement with its embroidered design on the back and iconic logo patch on the front. It’s complemented by a white long-sleeved shirt (€25) featuring a retro woven patch and a 1990s Mont Blanc photo print.

For an urban outdoor look, the collection offers cargo pants (€40) in brown and yellow, made from water-repellent fabric with four pockets, and a cargo skirt (€40) in dark purple with contrasting stitching. A lightweight, windproof jacket (€50) in beige with a tartan pattern and hood completes the outfit.

To complement the look, the collection includes MTC-X shoes (€80) in beige and purple, crafted from durable nubuck leather with a grippy, lugged sole. Mid-calf socks (€15) in purple or beige provide comfort, while a cap (€15) in purple with ear flaps offers versatile styling options. A functional highlight is the modular bag (€25) in purple/pink, which transforms from a belt bag to a backpack and offers ample storage space with four interior compartments.
