Columbia introduced OutDry™️ Extreme technology in 2016. Unlike traditional membrane constructions where the membrane is sandwiched between two layers of fabric, OutDry™ Extreme places the waterproof membrane on the outside of the garment, eliminating the need for additional DWR treatment on the surface of the garment. The membrane does not contain PFCs and is directly connected to the upper material. That’s why it can’t absorb water, a permanent beading effect is guaranteed. With this special membrane construction, Columbia also eliminates the risk of synthetic microfibers escaping and ending up in the sea.

With pre-shaped knees, comfort stretch, adjustable waistband and drawstring hem, it gives unrestricted freedom of movement.
