G-SHOCK and CASIO VINTAGE present Collaboration models with the Netflix cult series „Stranger Things“
Just in time for the premiere of the fifth and final season of Netflix’s „Stranger Things,“ CASIO is launching one of the most exciting collaborations of the year: The G-SHOCK DW-5600STT-1ER and the CASIO VINTAGE AQ-800EST-1AER bring the spirit of the Netflix megahit „Stranger Things“ directly to your wrist.
The collaboration between the DW-5600STT-1ER and AQ-800EST-1AER is dedicated to „The Upside Down“ and marks the second partnership between the Japanese brand and „Stranger Things.“
The DW-5600STT-1ER is based on the iconic shape of the 5600 and, with its black design, red light accents, and the typical vines of the Upside Down, evokes the look of the Upside Down. The strap loop features „011“ as a reference to Eleven, one of the main protagonists, and the case back is adorned with the „Stranger Things“ logo.
The silver AQ-800EST-1AER, with its analog and digital displays, is brimming with lovingly crafted design details and also features Vines from the Shadow Realm on its dial. The font and logo are taken directly from the series, while the „001“ on the clasp refers to Vecna, aka Henry Creel. The series logo is also engraved on the case back. Based on the CASIO VINTAGE AQ-450, this model perfectly captures the 80s charm of the series.
