To mark the 30th anniversary of the original Cardprotector, Secrid will present the new Cardprotector+ in August 2025 – a comprehensively enhanced version of the original product that sets new standards in security, design, and sustainability. The new patented Auto-Lock mechanism of these Premium+ models ensures that cards automatically lock into place when inserted, reliably holding even heavy metal cards.
Over more than three decades and with numerous subtle product improvements, the original Cardprotector has become a trusted everyday companion for many people – valued for its style, security, and sense of responsibility. Now, a new chapter begins with the Cardprotector+: It combines the legacy of the original with new features tailored to today’s life.
The Cardprotector+ forms the basis of all new Premium+ models: Miniwallet+, Slimwallet+, and Twinwallet+. These offer a wide variety of colors and finishes and combine durable materials with a timeless design. The newly designed, diamond-flush base provides a seamless finish and underlines the premium quality of the entire collection.
The new high-tech fiber pads of the Premium+ products not only make the models more robust and thus extend their lifespan, but also enable a completely vegan product line.
The product launch also focuses on the Cardprotector+ Fluted, a special edition with a distinctive grooved structure that combines a high-quality feel with an elegant appearance. Like all Secrid products, this edition is manufactured in Europe and assembled in Dutch social workshops.
