BUCHERER EXCLUSIVE ULYSSE NARDIN FREAK X ENAMEL – TRADITIONAL CRAFTS FROM THE MÉTIERS D’ART MEET THE LATEST MECHANICS
No dial, no hands. The extraordinary and complex Freak collection from Ulysse Nardin puts the clockwork completely at the center and allows it to rotate as a time display. This unique concept invites viewers on an almost limitless journey of discovery, as it is not just the deconstructed movement with its multitude of parts and precision work as well as the unique aesthetics of the watch that inspire. In collaboration with Bucherer, the Le Locle-based manufacturer has now created a limited edition of 18 pieces of the avant-garde timepiece. In typical Freak fashion, important components of the Bucherer Exclusive Freak The case and bezel of the exclusive collaboration are made of titanium and match perfectly with the black open-worked calfskin strap, which is given a special touch by the green stitching. The absolute focus is on the handcrafted enamel dial in rich green, which beautifully showcases the traditional craftsmanship. First, a guilloche technique is used, creating geometric lines that give the enamel depth and a modern touch. Ulysse Nardin’s maitres d’art then apply several layers of bright green enamel, transforming it into a true work of art. The Maison’s craftsmanship, which has been perfected over decades, is impressively demonstrated and forms a stylish symbiosis with the innovative design.
BUCHERER EXCLUSIVE GIRARD-PERREGAUX LAUREATO TOURBILLON – BALANCE AESTHETICS AND FUNCTIONALITY
Created 50 years ago, the Laureato stands as a testament to the brand’s extraordinary craftsmanship. Over the years, the collection has continuously developed while retaining its DNA. The octagonal bezel and the satin and polished surfaces are symbolic of this. With its iconic design and the integration of the tourbillon, the Bucherer Exclusive Laureato Tourbillon is no exception. The movement mechanism holds a special place at the heart of the brand, which introduced a three-bridge tourbillon in 1867.
The titanium case, known for its lightness, houses the caliber GP09510. This automatic movement beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and has a power reserve of 47 hours. Thanks to a microrotor, the timepiece is only 11mm thick despite the tourbillon, which once again demonstrates the craftsmanship of the traditional company. In particular, the dial, which features a Clous de Paris pattern, appears lively thanks to an anthracite gray color developed exclusively for Bucherer. The colors of the dial capture the light and allow the tourbillon to shine in all its nuances. The back of the watch reveals the excellence of the movement, which fascinates with various finishes, including Côte de Genève and Perlage – luxury is in the details. This sophisticated timepiece, even lighter thanks to its titanium case and bracelet, is limited to just 8 pieces worldwide and is engraved with “Bucherer 1888”.
BUCHERER EXCLUSIVE CHOPARD L.U.C STRIKE ONE – PERFECT ELEGANCE
Chopard’s L.U.C Strike One collection is the epitome of stylish aesthetics and attention to detail. Thanks to the independence of the house and the numerous craftsmanship cultivated there, all components are manufactured in-house. All L.U.C Strike One models also have the coveted “Poinçon de Genève” seal of quality. The Bucherer Exclusive Chopard L.U.C Strike One, limited to just 8 pieces worldwide, is a special class complication. The highlight of this breathtaking creation is the Sonnerie au Passage integrated into the one o’clock. It rings every hour on the hour on a monoblock sapphire crystal patented by Chopard. For the first time, the stainless steel “Lucent SteelTM” developed by Chopard was used for the case. This exclusive material is manufactured with a recycling rate of at least 80% and is characterized by its exceptional durability, hypoallergenic properties and its incomparable brilliance. An impressive testament to the Maison’s innovative strength. The fresh light blue hand-guilloched dial made of 18K ethical white gold is a very special eye-catcher, as it is accentuated by a tastefully crafted honeycomb motif. As a fine, small detail, a baguette-cut diamond shines at eight o’clock – a winking ode to the year Bucherer was founded and a symbol of the collaboration between the two companies. The gray leather strap adds a nice accent. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal back also reveals exciting insights into the inner workings of the watch.
