1. How did you get into modeling?
I fell into it, I was always interested in fitness and working out since i was 17. A few people said I should consider getting into modeling and when I posted pictures of me online on casting sites I had agencies reach out to me asking if I wanted to be a model. This led to me exploring it and getting involved in projects in NYC and Los Angeles for the past two years. I also had some mentors like @timeoutdigital that helped push me and put my initial portfolio together. He really helped me out cause he’s great at what he does and he was willing to let me use his studio initially to take a lot of my initial pictures.
2. What are you doing if you are not modeling?
Mainly video editing for bands, doing content creation for social media and acting. I have a passion for acting and am continuing to explore it, modeling is fun too and I think they’re all interviewed and doing modeling makes you better as an actor as it makes you pose, portrait complex emotions and get out of your comfort zone, which is something i’m naturally very good at anyway, i’m always pretty comfortable on a set and open to exploring and doing new concepts and making cool things happen.
3. The most spontaneous/difficult/strange thing you’ve ever done?
I moved to Houston and then to Austin after college because I didn’t want to live in the same place my whole life. That was a great experience because before then I had only been in NY and I wanted to explore and travel more, I’m glad I did it, and you grow as a person every time you move to a new city. Now that I’ve done it, I honestly feel like I can live anywhere cause I know what’s expected and how to handle that transition. I’m fairly spontaneous and easy going naturally so I’m sure that helps too.
4. What’s your life motto?
You’re only here one, act like it
5. Describe your personal style – Favorite Brands/Fragrance?!
I wouldn’t say I’m that into style, but I like to look good. I take good care of myself by eating right and working out often but as for clothes, I like to wear a lot of fitted t- shirts, black or white, and then leather jackets, jean jackets, straight fit jeans, I like beanies and boxer briefs over briefs. I like Hugo Boss a lot and I also like this brand called Comfrt cause they make these awesome sweatpants and sweatshirts and I like to wear nice fitted sweat suits, I like clothing that I can be active and just head to the gym in or play sports in cause I’ve always been very active, must be my ADHD
6. What genre of music best describes you?
Alternative, cause i’m unpredictable and you really never know what you’re gonna get with me sometimes lol
7. Where are your roots – The best thing about/to do in your hometown?
I grew up in Westchester, a suburb outside of NYC, was really nice because it was quiet and peaceful but also close enough to the city. Had a nice balance because I got to go to NYC often but not be exposed to all the craziness of it when I was super young, think that was good for me developmentally. But now I like the craziness of a city, funny how life works like that, I definitely don’t like being super boring and don’t see myself living in a super remote setting for awhile cause I like being in a place where a lot is going on.
8. Name one celebrity you’d like to get naughty with!
lol I can’t plead the fifth on this one? I mean, I’ve never really been one to have a celebrity crush but I like to entertain, so let’s just say, Eva Mendes and I would have a wild night out together. Take that as you will.
9. Do you have any special Talents?
I’d say the ability to move on quickly. Failure is part of life and it happens to everyone in some shape or form, I really don’t hyperfixate on it, I just keep going and I know that’s the right mentality to have, everyone is just trying to do their best, and once you realize that, it’s freeing cause people just want to be successful and figure it out, everyone is just going through life and a lot of the times if they’re upset or mean, it’s cause of past things that happened to them. Humans, we’re super complex man, and we are not exactly black and white creatures. I try and have compassion for people and understand them, and not take myself too seriously too. I want to succeed badly but if you’re way too serious about yourself, I think it really hinders growth and progress.
10. What is the most interesting thing online at the moment?
I’d say the growth of short form content as it’s really changed the way a lot of people consume their content. It’s pretty crazy how quickly it happened but people are adjusting and I think there’s a huge opportunity for creators and people to really grow their own individual brands, or their products/company or even a movement because the barriers for entry to making and creating content and putting it out there have never been more simple and easier to do. It’s definitely a good time to be online and on social media because there’s tons of opportunities for me and for anyone that is willing to put themselves out there and find the right niche for them.
