1. *Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music?*
Apple spritzer, of course.
2. *Please give us an update about your new single, new album, tour dates, and new videos!*
I just dropped my first EP, „gray,“ and I can’t wait to share what’s more to come. The official video for „Beating Me Blue“ has also just been released. It’s one of my favorite videos so far and a very special song for me, very honest.
3. *We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which harmless theory would you wish were true? (For example, dinosaurs living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)*
True love.
4. *What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?*
It’s difficult to say, but I would describe it as a mixture of elegant and casual, with dark tones and perhaps some eye-catching silver jewelry.
5. *Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?*
I always write about my inner struggles, whether it’s about love, depression, conflict, peace, self-love, or self-hatred. I want to create music that makes me feel alive, even if it’s just for a moment. People sometimes say I make sad music, but for me, it’s music that makes me feel something, and that’s the most important thing. So, I don’t mind if it’s sad.
6. *Besides music, do you have any special talents?*
I never get cold.
7. *Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist!*
I play the cello and love incorporating classical influences into my music. I often play all the string parts myself.
As a transman, my voice changed during my transition. My pre-transition voice was one of the most beautiful things for me, but I couldn’t keep it. Sometimes, I use AI to recreate my former voice and include it in my songs.
I always forget to drink or eat when I’m in my „zone.“
I don’t really like talking; I’d rather write you a song.
I love melancholy.
8. *How did you learn to sing, write, and play?*
I’m mostly self-taught by watching YouTube tutorials and similar resources, but I did take cello classes when I was 11.
9. *A question you’d like to answer but have never been asked in an interview before?*
Who is your favorite cellist?
Daniil Shafran.
