Now the brand is presenting new products that optimally care for and protect even (very) sensitive skin – with TriAsorBTM, the first organic and patented blue light filter that not only protects against UV light, but also against blue light and thus prevents skin aging Prevents hyperpigmentation. The focus is not only on the skin, but also on the environment: Eau Thermale Avène products have been proven to preserve biodiversity in the oceans.
TriAsorBTM is the world’s first organic filter that protects against UVB and UVA rays, but also against the short-wave blue component of daylight. This provides additional protection against skin aging and hyperpigmentation caused by short-wave blue lights. The specially developed filter system by Pierre Fabre, parent company of Eau Thermale Avène, consists of only four filters and therefore offers very good compatibility. The sun protection is photostable and very waterproof. Ideal for everyday use and even swimming.
The Pierre Fabre sun protection filter system is not only good for the skin, but also for the creatures in the sea. The four sun protection filters used have been proven to have no impact on marine organisms. Since 2016, Eau Thermale Avène has also been actively committed to protecting marine ecosystems. Together with the social enterprise Pur Projet, the in-house foundation has been committed to preserving coral reefs and mangroves in Indonesia and cleaning the coasts there of plastic waste since 2016.
In addition, 93% of Eau Thermale Avène packaging is already recyclable. By 2025, 100% of all our packaging will be part of a circular economy – and therefore fully reusable or recyclable.
Sun fluid that reduces pimples – Specially developed for oily skin with impurities, the Cleanance sun fluid SPF 50+ not only offers the reliable broad-spectrum sun protection of Eau Thermale Avène, but has also been proven to significantly reduce pimples and prevent them from forming due to sun exposure. In a clinical evaluation, 51 test subjects used the suntan fluid at least twice a day. The result: 92% improvement in blemishes and 55% reduction in pimples. This is ensured by the sebo-reducing active ingredient monolaurin and the anti-inflammatory zinc gluconate. When applied, Cleanance Sun Fluid SPF 50+ leaves an imperceptible, non-shiny finish on the skin, making it an excellent basis for daily make-up.

Sun cream that provides long-lasting moisture to the face – The SPF 50+ sun cream offers daily sun protection, also with an ultra-broad light protection spectrum and patented blue light filter. It is ideal for dry, sensitive facial skin: its velvety, melting texture provides the face with moisture for up to 8 hours and leaves nourished, soft skin. Its imperceptible, non-shiny finish makes it an excellent base for everyday make-up. The formula of the SPF 50+ sunscreen is also waterproof.
The new eco-design bottle is very light, recyclable and consists of 64% recycled plastic. This product is also completely in line with the thoughtful and ethical approach of Eau Thermale Avène.
Sun protection even under intense conditions – For sensitive skin and extreme conditions, Eau Thermale Avène offers the Intense Protect SPF 50+, also with the environmentally friendly Pierre Fabre filter system with blue light filter. Intense Protect SPF 50+ represents a central promise of the brand: soothing sensitive skin. This makes it particularly suitable for the whole family and pregnant women. In addition, Intense Protect SPF 50+ in particular can also be used “medically”, e.g. after dermatological procedures and the resulting scars or to protect tattoos.
Thanks to its texture, it is absorbed within three seconds and moisturizes for eight hours. Because it is extra waterproof and sweat-resistant, Intense Protect is also ideal for sports, at high altitudes or in high humidity, for example in the tropics. Its non-ecotoxic solar filters have no effect on corals, phytoplankton and zooplankton. The biological diversity of the seas is thus preserved.

The new 2-in-1 sun protection product from Eau Thermale Avéne is a real all-rounder: The tinted sun fluid for the face not only protects against UV rays, but also against omnipresent sheep material particles, oxidative stress and free radicals. All properties of a formulation that sustainably nourishes, soothes and strengthens the facial skin.
When applied, the microencapsulated color pigments are released and immediately reduce the size of the pores and refine the complexion.
