1. Hello, thank you for your time, please introduce yourself in a few words!
Luke: Hey I’m Luke Eisner and this is my pal Gus Ross and we make up the band VOILÀ!
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tourdates, new videos?!
Luke: We are happy to say our latest album “Long Story Short” is out! Of the 8 songs, 5 of them have animated lyric videos that I made! With the current stay at home orders our tour dates are: Gus’ backyard, my apartment building’s roof, the spare bedroom, and the kitchen counter.
Gus: we just finished up our next record too so we’re excited about that 🙂
3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

We recently went on a Midwest middle school and high school tour talking about self love, anti bullying, and the messages of our song “stand tall”. The song was in the Netflix movie “Tall Girl” which Luke also starred in.

Gus sang for the Queen of England when he was in high school. Luke sang happy birthday for some girls 14th birthday party when he was in high school.

We have opened up for artists such as The Fray, Kesha, X Ambassadors, and Walk the Moon.

Gus turned down a career as a professional golfer to pursue music. Luke got a hole in one playing mini golf once.

Our band name used to be Goldilocks because we both have long hair. Tragic.
4. What can we expect 2020 from you?
We are writing songs every day! So more projects, more collaborations, more videos, and more bad puns under Instagram photos!
5. Do you have bad habits? A guily pleasure you cant seem to quit?
Luke: when I write a song I can’t stop pacing. I probably pace the equivalent of like 2 miles over the course of writing a song. I don’t know why but I just can’t think of rhymes unless I’m walking!
Gus: producing heavy trap beats for fun is a habit I can’t seem to kick
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
Luke: I really got into horseback riding after we played shows in Texas and I realized I missed my calling to be a cowboy. I also can tolerate listening to Gus talk about how many push ups he can do for hours on end.
Gus: haha Nice one, I’m bilingual – speak fluent Danish!
7. Being on stage feels like….!
Gus: I’ve never been a fan of anything drug related but the rush one gets when people sing along to a lyric they know or when a song hits a certain spot for them is unlike anything I’ve ever known. Euphoric most definitely.
Luke: I feel like my pet snake under a heat lamp! Those lights are bright! I gotta stop wearing suits on stage I always melt.
8. Must Have – and No-Go in your Wardrobe! – Favorite Fashion Brand and Fragrance?
Luke: For must haves id say it’s all in the jewelry and the accessories. Rings and necklaces are kind of like remove able tattoos for me because they all have a story about where they fame from! For no goes I’d say shorts. My legs are so white I think I’d blind any airplanes flying by. My favorite brands are Ralph Lauren and John Varvatos. I also have two modeling campaigns out right now for them so thanks to them! My favorite fragrance is Diesel ‘only the brave’ and they DONT MAKE IT ANYMORE. So I have a guy in Ukraine who I buy old bottles from via eBay. So shout out to Vlad.
9. A question youd like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
Luke: I feel like someone should ask gus how many pushups he can do. I know he’s been DYING for someone to ask that.
Gus: Luke’s been throwing me under the bus here but if you must know I hit three thousand last night when I had a spare five minutes at 3am. It’s a good way to relax. Thank you for taking the time to interview us! Much love! 🙂
