Hello, thank you for your time, please introduce yourself in a few words!
Hi, my name is Thorsteinn Einarsson, I’m 25 years old and I am a singer and songwriter from Iceland, living in Austria.
Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
I just released my new single „Shackles“ which is my first release in two years and I am very excited about that. The music video was the most intense shoot I ever did but also the most fun and extreme video we ever shot and i am very happy with the outcome.
Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
– I love performing on stage, wether it be a big open air festival or a small club
– I started writing songs when i was 8 y.o.
– I had my first radio hit – which i got a songwriter of the year award for – when i was 18 y.o. – My main instrument is a guitar an most of my songs are written on a guitar!
– Every song that I have ever released is an autobiographical song, based on true events in my life!
What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
I am not much into fashion yet, but it’s definitely something I starting to get into more and more. I think raw, denim-styled brands like Levis would get close to it, but still with a little edgy twist. If Levis and Versace had a child, that’d be my music as a brand.
Do you have bad habits? A guilty pleasure you can‘t seem to quit?
I do, but more on the negative side: I did a lot of stupid shit and made some bad decisions in the past and I am slowly getting rid off all of these bad habits.
Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I love to cook and my friends tell me i am pretty good at imitating people or languages.

Must Have – and No-Go in your Wardrobe! – Favorite Fashion Brand and Fragrance?
I love boots – classic leather boots and fancy shiny ones – and dark jeans, those are must haves for sure. I like some crazy shirts and patterns too, so you’ll find some of these in my wardrobe. I am not much of a hypebeast so I dont really chase any new trends or brands.

Q: How many songs have you written that you never release because you think they suck
A: More than I can count!
