ROBSAN – ‘Time is Money’ + Exclusive Interview

1. Hello, thank you for your time, please introduce yourself in a few words!

What’s going on? My name is Robsan and I am an upcoming artist, producer, and engineer from the United States!

2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

My newest single is “Time is Money’ which is a play on how valuable time is to us as humans. Be sure to give that a listen! As of right now I don’t have an album name, but very soon I will be working on one. I’ve been building a buzz for myself before I drop a project. In the meantime, be sure to keep your eyes out for my new music video to Strivin’ feat. Krispel! Filmed and edited by the best out there @ninetynineovrall!

3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

As an artist, I want everyone to listen to my music and instantly be motivated! I started music for fun and it has gradually become something I decided to take seriously. I produce most of my songs and record them in my house! I just started releasing music last year, but I actually started many years ago. I plan on growing immensely in the next coming years as an artist, and I will run a successful label with many artists and producers!

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

I would say LRG is a brand that fits me all together. Their goal is to over throw the masses by their influence, and I try to do the same thing with my music. On top of that, I love everything about their designs because they’re always related to nature or something positive.

5. Do you have bad habits? A guilty pleasure you can’t seem to quit?

I wouldn’t say I have any bad habits that are detrimental to my life. I try to keep everything pretty balanced. Aside from music, I still have an active social life. I go a lot of places with my girlfriend and still go to the bar and  hang out with my friends. I think going out and experiencing things makes my music better. It gives me more to talk about and keeps everything fresh.

6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?

Besides music, I am a full time professional barber in an upscale salon called Coterie17! I’ve been cutting hair since I was 13 and I am now 26! I’m also a skateboarder but I haven’t been doing it as much because I need my hands healthy for music and cutting hair!

7. Being on stage feels like….!

I’ve only performed once! Unfortunately, it rained and the show was outside, so I didn’t really get the full experience. I am definitely excited to do my first real performance though! I’ve been locked down due to corona and I am ready to get out there and put on a show!

8. Must Have – and No-Go in your Wardrobe! – Favorite Fashion Brand and Fragrance?

A must have in my wardrobe is black tees! Sometimes I like to wear flashy stuff but for the most part I keep it low-key and casual. I’m definitely trying to get more into fashion though! I can’t really think of a no go in my wardrobe, but I will tell you I’m picky lol. I’ll try to wear anything as long as it fits right and I like it. My new favorite fragrance is Mont Blanc Explorer, I just started wearing it recently and I love the scent.

9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

Why do you make music? I make music because it gives me the opportunity to express the way I feel about the world. I feel like every person has a deeper thought process than we realize, they just don’t express it. Music is my opportunity to express the inexpressible. It lets me show people a side that they may not even know exists. I don’t like to project my thoughts and ideas onto people who may not even want to hear about them. I feel music is great for expression because it gives the listener a choice. If someone is listening to me, it means they’re invested. Creating music is also a way to influence others and I love that I can drop a song and potentially change the way someone feels or thinks for the better.
