Miller Blue released his „Cotton“ EP

Producer and songwriter Miller Blue also known as Benjamin Joseph Edwards was born in a small village in the UK but soon realised he wanted to branch away from his roots and set himself on a musical journey of self-development, exploring genres and noting his influences of RnB, Hip Hop and Jazz within his sound, resulting in an overflow of soul in the music you now hear.

Taking inspiration from Erykah Badu, James Blake and J Dilla,  Miller Blue has captivated ears and hearts across the country, playing a number of incredible shows across London, Leeds and Manchester, notably Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club and Live At Leeds, he also caught the attention of Radio 1 DJ’s Huw Stephens and Phil Taggart as well as Radio 1Xtra DJ Jamz Supernova and more recently an exclusive performance for 4Music’s Fresh Finds.

In reflection of a turbulent and transformative year, Miller Blue is preparing to release his self produced debut EP Cotton which promises to n following the release of his debut single, Marigold which was premiered by Complex and his most recent releases Rhythm In The Dance, Rush and Rose.

Speaking on the motivation behind the release Miller Blue says Cotton to me, is about my growth as a person over the last 4 years in to adulthood i guess. It’s rooted in my childhood and touches on different aspects of my life since. From Love to lust to friendship to mental health. I feel this project is in a way just an extension of me and a reflection on some of the emotions i’ve been through over the past few years.
