The video for ‘Kisses For Breakfast’ was filmed by Kiara during lockdown in her mum’s apartment. Directed by Tom Haigh through facetime and email, the video shows Kiara in various outfits and settings at home messaging a new love.
Kiara explains about the video, “We started out planning the video with Tom Haigh who directed the video through messages, facetime calls & emails. Me and Tom really got each other’s visions and I instantly loved all of Tom’s ideas. We ordered studio lights, led lights, clothes and accessories. We really wanted to go all in and make it the best we could given the situation. I’m super happy with how it turned out…..Now I truly hope everyone loves it as much as I do!”
The video complements the sentiment of the song which describes “the beginning of a relationship when you realize you really want to hold on to someone. And give them kisses for breakfast every day!” It’s about empowering yourself in the moment: embracing a new relationship, breaking free of your inhibitions and giving 100% of yourself to your new love.
‘Kisses For Breakfast’ was co-written by Kiara with the track’s producers M-22 (Robin Schulz, Klingande), who also worked on with her debut single ‘Adore You’. There’s a magic touch to their creative connection. They first made an impact when Kiara featured on their dance anthem ‘After Hours’, which has exceeded 17 million streams at Spotify. It picked up substantial support from Radio 1 in the shape of airplay from Scott Mills, Pete Tong and Diplo. Kiara and M-22
