JORLOV “FIGURE IT OUT!” + Exclusive Interview

1. Hello, thank you for your time, please introduce yourself in a few words.

Hey I’m Jorlov! I’m a rapper and songwriter originally from England. Now I’m in the States bouncing between the East Coast and West. When I’m not in California doing shows I’m in Connecticut seeing friends and working on writing new songs.

2. Can you tell us a little bit about your new single „Figure It Out!“ and the accompanying video?

Yes! It’s a collaboration with rapper Bigg Flexx. I met him at a party around a year ago and he told me he could rap. Well, a year later I found the beat and thought he’d sound fire on it so I sent it through. He came back with his verse and the rest is history. Buzi cut, shot and directed the video. To me he’s the Cole Bennet of Connecticut. amazing at the videos.

It’s amazing. You can hear every individual person. You see each face looking back at you. It’s the ultimate rush.

There has to be a piece of Off-White in my suitcase when I travel. I think Virgil Abloh is a genius. It’s very rare you’ll see me wearing a pair of denim jeans. I hate jeans. Always have.

People think I just listen to rap but I’ll bump anything really. I like finding lowkey Spotify playlists that seem interesting and hitting shuffle. Discover weekly is my favorite outlet for finding new music.
