Following on from the success of 2020’s „marinière masks“, Jean Paul Gaultier, Sidaction’s ambassador, presents a limited edition pair of socks to support once again this charitable association dedicated to the fight against HIV/AIDS.
These „SAFE SEX FOREVER“ socks repeat the strong message from the designer’s spring- summer 1996 collection, directly referring to this personal fight, so dear to Jean Paul Gaultier throughout his career.
All profits from this operation will be donated to Sidaction for the benefit of the fight against HIV/AIDS.
The „Safe Sex Forever“ socks will be available on https://sidaction.jeanpaulgaultier.com/en from Friday 26th March and at Tom Greyhound in Paris.
“The fight against AIDS is above all a personal story: this fight is particularly close to my heart. I was confronted with this scourge which took my friend away. I remember the rejection that patients faced at the beginning. It has always revolted me, knowing that everyone could be affected one day. I want to speak to young people and try to raise their awareness because they always think that HIV/AIDS doesn’t concern them”.
