What’s up all? I’m Jay-D the people poet, rapper…
Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?
The new single is called “Lost My Way”, it is about my struggles with mental health as they slowly spiral out of control and begin to affect all aspects of my life. It also has the bass player from my horror band Ed Cridland (Dr Bass) providing some funky slap bass.
Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
Juggalo for life! I’m using music to work my way through my mental health issues. I struggle all the time to keep going, but I am determined to show The world what I’m capable of. I want to make my live shows a spectacle and use as many live instruments as I can.
What can we expect from you in 2020?
Being in the identity line in Never Mind The Buzzcocks. Possibly a music video to the single, but my main focus is my horror band Keepers Of The Wicked and releasing our first demo.
Do you have bad habits? A guilty pleasure you can’t seem to quit?
I have loads! I LOVE Coke, (the drink!), to the point where it’s pretty much all I drink.
Beside music, do you have any special talents?
Not really. I like to think my music is special though because it lifts me up.
Being on stage feels like….!
It feels like every emotion all at once. Still get a bit of stage fright from the intense rush but that will go in time.
