Illusive Rapper UKNWN Returns With Melodic Trap Joint ‚En Route‘

The mysterious rapper UKNWN drops his latest single ‘En Route’, a melodic trap joint truly in a class of its own.

Following his most recent collaboration with fast-rising underground rapper Peter Xan in ‘Granules’, UKNWN, at no one’s surprise, drops another heater completely in its own lane yet cleverly synonymous with the London scene right now. The beat, produced by Jaimek9, is an airy joint with trap tinges throughout, and with the illusive rapper’s signature vocals adding to the vibe, it’s got us wishing summer wasn’t over. At just 1 and a half minutes long the track is an ode to UKNWN’s unshakeable talent and ability to produce such fire with ease as states “I recorded this quickly before I had to be somewhere, hence why it’s called En Route. Cooking time took about 30 mins”.

Following on from his most recent, huge EP ‘Snow Beach’ as well as impressive single ‘Lost’ featuring House of Pharaoh’s own BlazeYL, the bar is already set very high for this emerging artist. Working with a wide range of talented producers including the likes of Jamie K9, OBR, Chucks and more, this enigmatic artist is crafting is own unique sound, filled with catchy hooks and memorable melodies.

With this and his most recent single ‘Granules’ and ‘Lost’, UKNWN continues this steady trajectory towards being one of London’s most hyped newcomers. His gritty yet contemporary artistic direction sets him aside from others in the game right now and as someone who is ‘heard not seen’, his signature balaclava is a tribute to all the misfits and outcasts of the world. He states “I don’t enjoy being centre of attention. Genuinely someone who doesn’t fit in, I’m an outcast”.

With such a good year of singles so far from the London rapper and plenty more under his belt, he’s got the industry and his loyal fanbase eager to hear his project dropping at the end of 2019. Also with a show on the 1st November accompanied by very special guests, the back end of this year will go down in history for UKNWN’s musical career.
